Maliekal Heritance - Resort In Cherai, Luxury Resort in Cherai, Kochi

Wonderful resort !! You can have access to the backwater activities like pedal boating, kayaking, fishing while having complimentary tea and kerala snacks every evening from 5 to 6 pm. Beach is just opposite to the resort. Swimming, cycling, basket ball, indoor games are available for all the guests to spend their time. Rooms are neat, clean, Jacuzzi is well maintained. Early morning and evening one can enjoy the resort activities and beach, when it's hot outside relax at your room. We truly enjoyed the stay.

We had an amazing experience at Maliekal Resort, Cherai! The highlight of our trip was how wonderfully the resort arranged our baby's birthday on a boat--it was truly magical and something we will cherish forever.The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The resort itself is breathtaking, with stunning views, well-maintained surroundings, and beautifully designed rooms that offer both comfort and luxury.We had so much fun during our stay. Without a doubt, we plan to come back with our family for another memorable getaway. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a perfect beachside retreat!

We had planned to come to the Maliekal Heritance a few years ago but the trip had to be cancelled due to Covid. So we were really excited to come and stay here in February. |The hotel is a short drive from Cochin airport, it's located on a small strip of land called Cherai Beach. It's a beautiful spot with the backwaters behind the property and the sea on the other side. |Arrival at the hotel was so cool, with lots of staff coming out to welcome us and taking our bags. The hotel is very smart from the outside and the welcome from the staff was lovely. I have to say the staff are incredible at the hotel and at Waves restaurant across the road. I would like to thank Francis, Shiji and Alvin who were all very friendly and attentive. Big big thank you to waiter Nandru (I hope this is spelled right) and Josep the lovely security man, these guys really looked after us during our stay.|The pool area is really smart with very comfy beds so you can while away the time listening to the birds and wildlife which abound the area. The room was really clean and well appointed with a nice balcony overlooking the pool and backwaters. |I always try to be honest in my reviews and we did have a problem with our aircon for a couple of nights but this was dealt with after a couple of minor complaints. This was our only complaint, apart from this our whole experience was great. |We loved the food at Waves, the staff were great. Cherai Beach was a good spot and had nice restuarants but wasnt too busy. The games room, basketball net and bikes for us to use were a good touch.|All in all a fabulous stay, I really recommend this place and would love to come back someday.

We had an absolutely amazing stay here. We booked the family suite, which was incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with all the premium amenities one could ask for.||The pool overlooking the backwaters, the charming chai stall set up in a boat as a snacking area, and the adjoining restaurant were all fantastic additions. The beach, located just across the hotel (a mere 30-second walk), made our experience even more convenient and well thought out.||From the reception to room service, the staff was exceptionally hospitable and proactive in assisting us throughout our stay. A special shoutout to Bijo, a staff member who truly went above and beyond. His kindness, friendliness, and willingness to help made a significant difference in our experience--his assistance was the cherry on top of an already wonderful stay. We cannot praise him enough!||Although we didn't get a chance to use the cycling and spa services, they are excellent options that we might explore on our next visit.||Overall, a flawless 5-star experience for me and my family!

I and my husband has wonderful stay at this cute cozy property in Kochi. What an awesome location, one one side lake and the other sea, it is an experience in its own. The property is very well maintained and care has been taken to incorporate small little things for guests comfort. The room on the lake was very beautiful and welcoming. All staff members were very courteous. Alvin suggested the best dishes,and even served the fish which we caught from the lake with the help of Sujeet. The spa was also a very relaxing experience,we appreciate guidance by doctor and both male and female masseurs. Highly recommend this for a relaxing.

Small property, Located right at Cherai Beach, had a good experience in terms of activities. Beach, Kayaking, Cycling. Biggest Negative is their Rooms are spacious but so so DIRTY and OLD. FLOOR and CEILING PACKED WITH DIRT AND DUST! HORRIBLE in terms of Cleanliness! Swimming pool and Room Jacuzzi was great! Hotel - 3 Star Service - 5 Star Food - 2 Star Rooms - 1 Star (Old, Unclean and Dirty)

Excellent facility. Very good service. Enjoyed the 2 day break. Special mention of Ms. Mubashira at the Waves who was exemplary exceptional in all aspects. Ms. Shiji at the reception was very warm and welcoming. Congratulations Team . Keep up the good work. |Dr. Babu Dr. Mary

The hotel staff were friendly and efficient, the restaurant staff could do with some tuition as meals were edible but arrived in an unusual manner. We only stayed a couple of nights so were tolerant but not sorry to move on. Our room (H1) had noise issues with traffic and argumentative neighbours complete with grizzly baby. Having said all that, I suspect this hotel is as good as any on this beach strip.
