Indriya Sands at Kuzhipally is a beautiful and peaceful beachside resort, perfect for a relaxed getaway. The main highlight is definitely the location -- it's right on a quiet stretch of beach, giving stunning sunset views and a very calm atmosphere. The property is spacious with a lot of greenery and direct beach access, making it ideal for families, couples, or even small events. Rooms are clean and comfortable, though not overly luxurious. The cottages and villas have a traditional charm, and many have nice views of the sea. Facilities are decent, but some areas could use a little maintenance and upgrades. The staff were generally polite and helpful, and the food served was fresh and tasty with a decent variety of local dishes. It's a great place if you're looking to unwind, walk on the beach, and enjoy some peaceful time away from the city rush. Parking is available, and the drive to the resort is quite easy. Overall, a very good experience, especially for those who love being close to the sea and nature!

I just want to say a massive Thank you for your hospitality. From the moment we arrived, to the last minute of our stay - our experience was simply amazing. Your staff went above and beyond to cater for our needs. Kitchen staff deserves a separate and heartfelt Thank you. Beautiful surroundings, lots of things to do , and clean swimming pool! Thank you.

We visited Indriya Sands for a team outing. The rooms were just okay and the overall atmosphere could be much better. The hall was extremely hot, making it hard to enjoy as we were sweating the whole time. The food was below average -- cold and not fresh. On the positive side, the adventure activities like cycling and zipline were fun. However, the pool was a big letdown with a bad smell and poor maintenance. Overall, the experience was mixed but could have been much better with proper upkeep and hospitality.

Perfect picturesque location for the whole family... Well maintained childrens park...water activities... Inbetween sea and backwaters... swimming pools...walk to beach.... Not that crowded beach.... And top of that...very professional, polite and helpful staff...rooms were little drawback needs bit of renovation... We enjoyed a lot...kids never wanted to come back... Thank you Indriya Sands...

I had a pleasant stay. The resort is clean and well-maintained, creating a welcoming atmosphere. However, the rooms are too close to each other, and noise from neighboring rooms can be disruptive - an issue I hope they address soon. The staff is outstanding - cooperative, supportive, and always ready to assist, making the stay very comfortable. A big thumbs up to them! The resort also offers a variety of activities at discounted rates, adding great value to the experience. Overall, it's a great place to stay.

Great place to go with family and friends. Great facilities and amazing view. The beach and lake combo makes for an amazing visual experience. The adventure park is great for thrilling activities and the childrens park is great for kids to enjoy.

A lovely property very close to the beach. I conducted a three day camp for children . Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Food was tasty and customised to the palate of the kids.Most rooms were spacious. The property has some good adventure activties to engage children.Staff management and coordination at the adventure park requires improvement. Overall the experience was great and I would be happy to conduct more such events there.

Disappointing Stay Despite the Beautiful Location The only highlight of our stay at Indriya Sands was the beach-view room--it was well-maintained and had a lovely balcony overlooking the ocean. Waking up to that view was the only peaceful part of the experience. Unfortunately, everything else was quite stressful and disappointing. We booked through Agoda, and although the first day's payment went through, the second day was pending. As soon as we arrived, we were asked for full payment upfront--even before seeing the room. What made things worse was that there was a mix-up in their system, showing a different room category (heritage room), but this wasn't clarified until after we paid. When I asked to cancel the second day, I was told it was non-refundable. The staff and management were extremely rude and unhelpful throughout. Instead of trying to assist or explain the confusion, they were dismissive and borderline disrespectful. Another major issue was the lack of basic services. For such a large resort, there is no functional kitchen. Food has to be pre-ordered and there were no welcome drinks or even tea/coffee available--even on request. We arrived around snack time but no one checked if we'd like anything, and we were told to order everything in advance. With the property being in a secluded area, Swiggy and Zomato weren't delivering either, so getting food or even tea became a task. On the second day, we pre-ordered lunch, but the staff didn't check the message and missed our order. Instead of taking responsibility, they asked for proof and still didn't offer an apology. Cleanliness and service were poor. Staff seemed uninterested, no one followed up post check-in, and even when we paid extra for an additional guest, no extra bed was provided. We had booked a lake-view room expecting some peace and nature, but instead, our balcony faced an adventure park which was noisy and crowded due to a full-day event. It felt more chaotic than relaxing. As someone who is lizard-phobic, I found it unbearable to stay in a room with multiple lizards inside. On top of all this, they asked for an extra 3-hour charge for my sister, who had a later flight--even after the horrible experience we had. In the end, we decided to check out in the evening instead of staying the second night. I've never had such a stressful stay, and the local staff's attitude made it even worse. This experience left such a bad impression that I don't think I'll ever return to Cherai.
