Excellent location and reasonably priced. Also, not loud unlike most places in fort Cochin.

Simple but comfortable and staff super friendly and helpful. No breakfast or food on site but they are connected to excellent Kashi Cafe about five minute walk away. Rooms clean and comfortable although one of ours (friends travelling together, two rooms) had doors opening onto air shaft which had gaps allowing mosquitoes in...we put the duct tape to use (never leave home without it!) and used our mosquito nets. Great neighbourhood. We were two solo female travellers, rooms on ground floor but felt perfectly fine and safe. Cannot say enough how helpful and friendly staff was.
It's nice location in fortkochi for photoshoot and the ambience was so good.
It's so great I went back for a second stay! Beautiful rooms in restored building in the perfect location - just steps to Princess Street's shops and restaurants while being just far enough away that it remains peaceful. Jude was amazing at helping with onward (and return!) travel arrangements. My driver Francis was highly capable and very funny. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. I very highly recommend!
Raintree lodge is a good hotel to stay in Fort Kochi. Hotel entrance gives a picturesque view of forest(creepers) and attract tourists and photographers. It's a small and old hotel with limited number of rooms in a quite street of fort kochi. Room was quite big with old furnitures which gives a old world charm. We have not opted for breakfast or dinner, hence have no idea about the food. The best part of this hotel is the location. The streets in and around this hotel gives a very classy feel, surrounded by beautiful gardens, cafes and restaurants. |One small change required is the repairing of furnitures like chairs and table, which are in a bad shape. |Overall a good stay.
Raintree lodge was a great find. The exterior is very pretty, and the location is great for exploring Fort Kochi (a two-minute walk from Princess Street). The price is very reasonable for what was on offer (and compared to a lot of other hotels in Fort Kochi). Rooms are compact but perfectly comfortable, and the bathrooms are well designed in that taking a shower does not flood the whole loo. A very minor gripe is that the rooms could be soundproofed a little better against street noise. ||As previous reviews mention, the first floor rooms are better than the ground floor as a lot of tourists tend to take pictures outside the hotel. There is no on-site restaurant - however, there are many excellent restaurants and cafes within a five-minute walk of the hotel.||Would happily visit again.
Very poor service by the staff. Menu was provided with no prices, handwritten bill was provided. The server shouted at us and served the food, as if the staff are paying for the food. A very bad experience and a very bad atmosphere which we will ruin your vacation. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE
Don't know how to start and share in words. It's a really pleasant stay in RainTree - Fort Kochi. They have maintained well, especially the exterior with the creepers. Really superb. The staffs were very friendly and assisted well.
