Hotel Fort Queen

I recently attended a buffet dinner event at Fort Queen Restaurant, expecting a pleasant dining experience. Unfortunately, it didn't quite meet my expectations. While the ambiance was decent and the staff were courteous, the main issue was with the food. Almost all the dishes were served cold, which really took away from the overall experience. The variety in the buffet was decent, offering a mix of local and continental dishes, but the flavors were just average. Some dishes lacked seasoning, and others felt like they had been sitting out for too long. Even the desserts, which I was looking forward to, were not served at all. The service was prompt in refilling dishes, but the quality of the food itself left much to be desired

this hotel is a horror for animal lovers. big and small koys have to live in front of the entrance in a tiny tank. not a single stone or water grass in the tank. the water is extremely hot. only for decoration. we tried to talk to the manager and owner several times that these are also living creatures. we wanted to buy the animals and had also found a beautiful place. but the manager laughed at our request and explanation and said that it was normal in this area to keep the fish like this and they had been there for 4 years. he didn't care if they were unwell.

I stayed one night on 16/12/2024 with family. The room was very nice and though we checked-in late, the manager Sharat arranged dinner and it was very tasty. All the facilities were excellent and to top it all,the staff were very kind and helpful. Overall it was a memorable stay. I will surely recommend this property for comfortable stay..

Everything was normal till I came across the cleaning staff. My family had taken two rooms in the same floor. In one of the rooms a handbag containing lot of money was there. One of our relative found the money was missing. When we called the managerial staff they assured first they would see the cctv and approach the house keeping staff. But I noted that the cleaning staff use the fire exit which perhaps has no cctv. After a day or two, we realized another bag containing money had been tampered too. In all about Rs. 32-33 k was short from two different bags. The manager didn't either produce the cctv evidence or the staff, leaving me to believe that perhaps they were hand in gloves with the culprits. It may also be mentioned that the staff cleaning the room was more like a touch and go. There's no checking on them on the cleaning front either. They're busy checking bags and stealing money with or without the knowledge of the managerial staff. Initially they advised us not to go to the police. But this is a serious issue and this can happen to just anyone. So, I am sharing this.

Hotel very well maintained. More than value for money. Hotel has all facilities and very well build. Impressive stay. I would prefer come again

One of the worst hotels...the staff are really not able to understand English or Hindi..for a simple instruction you need to tell 10 times....the food was horrible ..the service was hopeless...pls don't come and stay here ..u have much better properties in the vicinity

Very well and neatly maintained rooms staff were friendly loved the stay at suite room budget friendly but although food was a lil disappointment could improve!
