Hotel Fort Manor

Set in a prime location, the hotel is in a walking distance to the nearby market. Speaking of the facilities provided, the hotel rooms are very neat and tidy and has all the basic amenities like clean rooms, bathroom kits, wifi, TV, AC, etc. The hotel staff were very hospitable and always had a smile while answering our queries. We had complimentary breakfast as well, which was served hot and fresh. Wonderful stay, wonderful experience.

This has to be one of the most memorable hotel stays that I have experienced recently. I booked the hotel for 2 days initially and arrived hours before check in and was exhausted. I asked for an early check in and the staff (Abin) promptly made it happen. I mentioned that I wanted to rent a bike and Abin arranged it in no time. Afterwards, Abin also recommended good spots for authentic Kerala food. After my 2 days, I extended my stay for one more day, so that I can explore more of Fort Kochi. The hotel was fully booked, despite this Abin upgraded me to a suite for a very reasonable price. He also recommended and booked a place for me for the Kathakali and Kalari exhibition,which is right opposite the hotel. Fort Manor is a 3 star hotel with 5 star hospitality. Abin really does go above and beyond to make you feel at home. If you're looking for an affordable hotel to stay with exceptional staff, this is the hotel for you. Location is great and has easy access to various nearby tourist spots. The rooms could use a bit of TLC but for the price point it is okay. The suite on the other hand was spotless. If you do chose Fort Manor, don't forget to ask for Abin. Also don't miss the Kathakali and Kalari exhibition that is world famous that is right opposite the hotel.

We turned up for our booking through Hotels.com only to find that there wasn't a room for us. The person on the phone was not at all helpful and said that he had notified Hotels.com. Hotels.com had no knowledge of any cancellation and eventually refunded the cost of the booking after a few virtual conversations and eventually a real person who said that they had been trying in vain to contact the hotel. At the time however we were left having to find alternative accommodation at short notice.

We had a great stay at The Fort Manor Hotel in Kochi. Great location, clean rooms and very helpful staff in particular Abin Thomas ! He helped us out in getting somethings organised and assisted in anything we asked for. Would definitely recommend
