Gramam Homestay, Cochin

There are no words to describe this place or the experience. It is like somebody created a dream in the most beautiful spot in kumbalangi. Serenity, beauty, lush landscapes and fentle waves from every door and window. The host is an amazing person who takes care of you like family and the food, oh god we were lost in it. 5 stars are not enough for this piece of heaven.

Gramam homestay was Serendipity! The property is virgin, quiet, well maintained and beautiful ! Situated amidst nature, the hosts have retained the ethnicity with an open bath concept as the modern twist. Its a perfect getaway from the city and ideal if you want a retreat with your very dear or want to be one with nature. The doors and windows open to scenic views of green and blue interspersed with bright spots of red, yellow, orange and the like. Waking up to the sound of birds, bird knocking on the window and to clean air is indeed a luxury! The hosts are pleasant, non-intrusive and helpful. The breakfast was sumptous and tasty!

What a perfect location for nature lovers.|It's overlooking the waterways and secluded without being isolated. The wildlife is all around.|The host was the perfect balance of attentive without disturbing our solitude.|Breakfast was served in our kitchen.|The size of this coconut lodge is huge.|We had an open air bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and 2 double beds and a lounge area.|The wood on the building and furniture is loved, clean, polished and shiny.|A great place for nature lovers.

Gramam Homestay was an absolute jewel of an accommodation. Jos and his family were so welcoming, attentive and made amazing breakfasts every morning. Jos's communication with us prior to the trip was excellent, and he helped us to arrange our travel to our next destination. ||The family room was very clean and beautifully furnished. We were able to use a small plug-in stove in the kitchen too, although the food is so good in Cochin it's worth heading out for lunch and dinner instead! ||If, like me, the mosquitos love you, you may want to bring a mosquito net- although there are great big fans above the beds that help keep them away. ||Would definitely recommend Gramam Homestay as a lovely, comfortable spot slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of Fort Cochin.

A very pleasant experience, cottage is right next to the backwaters and it also has some greenery . Boats can be seen from the house along with Chinese fishing nets

The host and family is extremely welcoming. The place is exactly as shown in the pictures - beautiful view of the backwaters and a rustic home. If you are looking for a quiet get away amidst nature, this is what you are looking for

I had a peaceful and relaxing stay away from the hustle and bustle of Fort Kochi. The website gave the impression that I was in for a treat and I was not disappointed - in fact Gramam Homestay exceeded my expectations.
