Elim Homestay Fort Kochi

Very reasonable stay for a clean comfortable room with air-con, good WI-FI fridge, desk, wardrobe and kettle. George and Daisy are lovely people very friendly and George was very helpful organising for us to change money and telling us about a backwaters trip. Remember to ask George or Daisy to turn on the hot water for your room then it is plentiful immediately.||Convenient location as can walk easily to the water metro and nearby restaurants Mia is lovely nearby or Kerala cafe in town (fab coconut ice cream) Tuk tuk rank is at top of the road near the bus stop and it's only 50 rupees to town.

Comfortable, clean, A/C and great location. Easy to walk to busy areas while being much quieter. Manager is very polite, and there's included drinking water which is always a plus. Spacious shower. Simple stay but great ratio of comfort:price if that's what's you're looking for.

The rooms are very confortable, good size, with AC, a little kitchen and plenty of storage. Really probably the best rooms we've found in India so far. The price is very good for the quality of the rooms. Also George is such a sweet helpful man. We are very happy we ended up here. Actually we came back after visiting Munnar so yeah, really recommend it

I was at Elim Homestay from Oct 9, 2023 until Dec 1, 2023 and finally took the time to write a well-deserved review. George and his wife were so kind and welcoming to me. I was traveling as a solo female in India for several months and this adorable place became my sense of "home". I felt very safe at Elim Homestay and honestly could tell that George and his wife truly care about their guests. I had lively conversations with George ( whose English was spot on!) And he taught me many things about the culture of India. He taught me how to handle the "pushiness" of TukTuk drivers and let me know everything I needed to know in order to keep myself safe while there. One of their daughters got married while I was there and I was even invited to attend the wedding! Another daughter was home on Holiday from college in Georgia when I first arrived and I absolutely adored her energy. Her Amma certainly missed her when she returned to school and allowed me to hold space for her while she let herself feel some feelings. I definitely felt like I was family with them. That's just the hospitality I received, what makes it even better was the quality of the room itself. It was so spacious and had plenty of storage. It was honestly like a small apartment rather than a room. I had cold a/c and excellent wifi! The refrigerator was really big and worked wonderful. The bed was very comfortable and cleaning services were available as needed ( with completely new bedding every 3 days!). OH, and the bathroom was huge with toilet and shower both working great! Everything you could need is within walking distance, including the ocean! There was always a celebration going on in the streets and the balconies on each floor provides a great place to sit and watch it from a birds eye view. I will definitely stay there again when I return to India in the future. I truly miss my little life and neighborhood in Ft. Kochi.. I will treasure my memories always and I'm so grateful for the safe and lovely home I found in Elim Homestay. TALINA DAVISENN ( UNITED STATES OF AMERICA)

Very pleasant and comforting. Very much happy with the greeting from the owner on check in. and the room was excellent. We arrived with a five member group and a child and booked for a single room. we all where extremely happy with the service and care. the owner even re arranged the room for better comfort by himself because our group contains old women and a child so split up beds where not Ideal for us. I will definitely recommend the place for my people and I have already fixed my place to stay, on my next visit to Fort Kochi with another group..

Ok, where do I start off? |Arrival: George welcomed us to their homestay and took the time to answer all questions we had and more. He is a very friendly, honest and patient man with a "Can Do" attitude. |After speaking to him, we knew: were, what, when, how and how much. ||The Room: Very clean room with AC and Ceiling fan, good shower and plenty of warm water. There also seemed to be a little kitchen we didn't use which might be handy for some guests.||Hospitality: George & Daisy are some of the nicest people you will meet on this planet. Very caring & honest.|I was sick for some of my stay and Daisy nursed me back to health with some homemade remedies. George had some tips on medicine and within 2 days I was back to feeling ay okey!||They saved our trip to Kerala.|Thank you so much. |I can recommend Elim Homestay to anyone visiting Kochi. |5 stars across the board!|

Elim homestay made a base for our family trip to Kerala (there were 7 of us). The Hosts were marvellous, couldn't do enough to help - ordering taxi's, made wonderful Keralan breakfasts and did everything they could to make us feel at home. The rooms were very clean and bed linen fresh and white, air con, ceiling fan and mosquito netting at the windows made the room perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Elim and I will make sure that if I return to Fort Kochi this will be my first port of call.
