Cherai Beach Palace

First of all, this is not a 3 star hotel as shown here. The AC was not working most of the time during this summer which was the biggest drawback I felt. There are no cupboards in the room and the door was creaky which was very disturbing. There are no proper facilities for a hotel, such as tissue, tooth brush, tooth paste. The roof top restaurant was good with a nice beach view. The room ambience was also fine with a tharavadu feel. The food was just average. We need to order in advance as there is no restaurant here. So we cannot add something in between. Complementary breakfast was just for namesake with no options. Can opt for outside food if you are looking for multiple options. Room service and reception staff were friendly, but were not well trained and lacked professionalism. In short, this place may be budget friendly, but do not feel the value for money as we did not feel comfortable during our stay. Not sure how they got this 4 star rating, but please check for other options as there are many in Cherai. PS: No credit card payment accepted here.

Review: Cherai Beach Palace - A Total Letdown One of the worst hospitality experiences I've had. The place has zero ambience -- dull, poorly maintained, and far from what's shown in pictures. They shamelessly overcharge for basics like water, and the food? Tasteless, low-quality, and nowhere near worth the price. The staff were indifferent and barely responsive, making the service just as disappointing. The final blow? They actually charged us for minor wear and tear -- something that any decent place would consider normal usage. It felt like a blatant money grab. Avoid this place. There are far better and more honest options nearby.

My family and friends family of 5 stayed here. The service was good and rooms were clean and maintained very well. In case any assistance required you can contact owner directly and he will assist quickly. I would recommend it .

We had a fabulous experience staying at Cherai Beach Palace. Had spent a quality family time with the scenic beauty of Cherai Beach. Thank you Viju, for arranging the sea facing rooms, which were very clean and well maintained. Highly appreciated the support we received from Nikhil and Roshit, as they always showed up a very friendly approach. The swimming pool was so clean and we have got good time to enjoy the fullest. Overall, it was a great staycation experience, with a homely feel. Highly recommend

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The in charge person Viju is very helpful and the barbeques in the night were really delightful. The place is located right at the beach, on the other side of the road. So you are always close to the Ocean. One of the few places with a swimming pool in this location, hence kids had a gala time. Rooms are neat and clean. Prices are reasonable too.

Done quick booking after gone through the reviews. The location, sea view good. The room allocated not upto the mark number 112. When we have checkedin room by 12am and it's hot, AC not working. After half an hour it was getting switched on. Morning by 7am till our checkout time AC not working. No hot water direct line in the room however it was supplied when we have requested. No chairs and cupboard for keeping the luggages. The support persons are attending whenever we seeks support
