Ashoka Inn Chottanikkara

I recently stayed at **Ashoka Inn** in Chottanikkara, and it was a decent experience overall. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its **proximity to the Chottanikkara Bhagavathy Temple**, which is just a short walk away, making it an excellent choice for devotees. The **rooms are spacious** and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. However, I noticed that the **washroom towels were not that clean**, which could be improved for better hygiene. The **staff was attentive and helpful**, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. They were polite and responsive to requests, which made the stay pleasant. The hotel offers **average parking space**, which might be a bit tight if you're traveling with a large vehicle, but it's manageable. One thing to note is that the hotel does not have an in-house restaurant, so you'll have to explore nearby eateries for meals. However, there are plenty of vegetarian restaurants close by, so food isn't an issue. Overall, **Ashoka Inn** is a good budget-friendly option for those visiting **Chottanikkara Temple**, offering **spacious rooms and a convenient location**, though cleanliness in some areas could be improved.

Rooms are decent and the hotel is just 10 mts walk from the temple. The only wierd thing for me was that not even a single local/ malayali staff. All staff were "imported" :-) and in their early ages. I was not used to it.....that is all.... And in the middle of the night some new guests came in and some ladies were shouting and chilling which was really troublesome to get a nice sleep

Staff debited my amount thrice and refused to give it back. I asked to call the manager and he came in half sleep and was very rude. He literally told my father to "shut up" and was extremely rude. His name is Iqbal. People like him should never be there working for devotees who stay for temple purpose nor for anyone . Please hire someone good.

Near to chotanikara temple.. walkable distance only .. hot water available from early morning to till 9 am.. big size bed.. good service from the staff.. wifi less speed..cleaned bathroom..some portion of the interior damaged..

VFM stay near the temple . clean and neat rooms . Covered Parking space for almost 8 cars . Flexible with check-in timing ( depending on availability ) .

Room booking not reliable. Not attending phone calls. Cancelled phone booking after 10 days, said rooms not available.

It's very close by to temple, the staff were quite friendly & they assist as well. The place is quite near to the temple & you have some good resturants around. Reduced a star, since there were few ants on the bed.

Horrible experience. There were lot cobwebs in the room. There are two ppl who call themselves as managers, one among them is very rude and does not even know how to talk to customers . We will surely not recommend this hotel to anyone. I guess all the five stars given here are paid reviews.
