Great ambience. Perfect spot right on the beach to melt all the stress out of your body and mind. The sea side deck on which food is served is the most attractive part of the stay here. Rooms are well maintained and furnished. They look like typical Kerala heritage house bedroom. Food was tasty and the staff were very courteous and helping.

Beautiful location. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The manager booked a transfer from the airport which helped a great deal. During our stay he also arranged a day out with a driver to the waterfalls. My partner's luggage was lost by the airport and the staff at the hotel arranged to have it sent to the hotel when it was found at no extra cost. The food was freshly prepared each day and tailored to our wants, it was incredible! Can not recommend Brighton Beach House enough! Thank you!

We have now stayed at the Brighton Beach House three times, in 2013, 2015 and 2017. I have to admit that every time we arrive, the first thing I ask myself is, "Why did we come back here?"||||To be sure, the place is a bit grungy, although I did find it to be clean - just everything is very, very basic. The rooms don't do anything to give a feel of homeyness and the stairs down to the beach are in disrepair, and the eating area is minimalistic. All true.||||However, every time, once I have been there for a couple of hours I remember, Yes! This is why we keep coming back. The staff is very gracious and helpful. The food is delicious - albeit a limited menu. The place is private and right on the beach. We saw dolphins every day, and the water is very swim-able. There is a feeling of family here that keeps us coming back. ||||I would recommend this place very highly, with the one caveat that it is not a fancy hotel, and it is not trying to be. It is bare bones, but those bones are lovely and we love building a sense of community with the folks there. If this is not your thing, or if you are looking for anything at all luxury, this place is not for you. But if you are a traveler who values low prices, an attentive staff, safety, good food and a sense of belonging, you will love Brighton Beach as much as we do. We will be back on our next trip.

Right on the beach although it pays have some agility when negotiating the boulders down onto the thin strip of sand though I was led to believe that the beach sand is normally higher but was washed away in a recent storm. Saw dolphins at breakfast every day. We've given four dots for Brighton due to excellent value for money. When we were there we had an on shore breeze every evening which made eating outside possible, no mossies or sand flies unlike resorts on the inland side of the road. The manager, cook and staff were all very helpful in a casual kind of way. Food was good if a bit limited and we ate all our meals there. The room was certainly up to standard for this price range. There was not a lot going on in this area, the nearest bar was two kilometres away although we walked it numerous times along the beach no problem. If we were to visit Kerai Beach again we would certainly consider Brighton again.

Beautiful scenic place and the sunset view with greenery coconut trees awesome place and the special one the sounds of waves, very peaceful place I have spent 3days of very good time with my loved one. Staff is very helpful and respectful.

Have stayed in couple of places near Cherai beach, and Brighton Beach house easily is one of the best place to hangout with friends. The rooms were calm and cozy with the sounds of the waves creating an ambiance. Mr. Santhosh was really helpful in providing us all the requirements. And the beach house facing the Arabian sea was the best place to relax. Overall, it was a great trip. Would recommend.

Very nice place this is the first place to go when you are looking for peace and calm resort . It has direct entrance to the beach from restaurant. The reastaurant is beach view and ideal place for sunbathing . The services are very good. Rooms are antique from outside and luxurious in inside. Food is great . Kerala style is the best. Room rent is very cheap compared to other's.

Had a decent experience at Brighton beach house. If you are expecting an exquisite beach side resort this might not ne the place for you. But if you are in need of a little peace and loose talks with your friends watching the sea and stars this might be enough. Like you see in many pics we were not able to get down the shores directly from the beach house. But We could watch the waves, the beautiful sunset and millions of stars the care taker bought us all the fish we asked for and cooked some delicious food for all of us. Rooms were ok but not the top class ones. Overall a good experience.
