Golden Fern Resort

Good resort with peaceful atmosphere.views from the rooms were spectacular. Cottages are better than the mud houses.staffs were exceptional. Very helpful and always there whenever we need them.food was too good.cooked inside the facility and tastes homely.they helped us in arranging jeep safari also. Worth it.

We stayed with family for our Vacation. Location - Excellent very well reachable by any vehicle. Rooms - Well maintained and Has Sit out in the Superior room which gives a wonderful view of the Hills. Food - Very well prepared, Tasty, delicious and delivered On time.. Service - Awesome and prompt. A few things that can take this to next level - Elders have to climb the stairs which is difficult, a ram can be made for wheel chair access. A simple curtain inside the Bathroom can stop the water spread in the WC area.

Well maintained Property. We visited the property for a stayaction with family. Rooms are having sufficient space and very clean. Welcoming staff. The property is very near to the zipline. They arrange jeep safari too if requested.

A serene escape into nature! I stayed at Golden Fern Kanthaloor for three days and had an amazing experience. I booked directly through their website to avoid extra vendor charges. The journey was beautiful, passing through the Kerala Sandalwood Forest, and the location was easy to find using Google Maps. The entrance was smooth, even for small cars, with ample parking. The property is nestled among trees, with plenty of flowers, birds, and even monkeys. The staff was welcoming and helped carry our luggage to the mud house, just a minute's walk from the entrance. The room was cozy, with a wooden roof, spotless, earthy construction, and naturally cool--no need for the pedestal fan provided. Breakfast was complimentary, delicious, and vegetarian (idli, puttu, etc.). Dinner was available at an extra charge, with the option to request dishes of our choice. While they don't serve lunch (as most guests are out exploring), it gave us the chance to enjoy homely meals at small, charming eateries nearby. A perfect spot for a peaceful getaway, away from the crowd. Tip: Network coverage is limited (only Jio and BSNL work), but they offer Wi-Fi. Highly recommend this place for a refreshing nature retreat!

Exceptional customer service and beautiful location, chilled weather. It's a little bit risky to get to the resort as the entire reserve forest road is narrow and crowded with vehicle traffic. drive carefully.

Excellent place to stay in kanthaloor to feel the forest ambitions. But facilities still needs to be improved. Michael (the Jeep driver), who came to guide us throughout the journey. Had an adventurous trip and he covered all unique places in site seeing. Children felt safe and secured. He took care of us well and felt like one of the family member. wonderful trip and enjoyed thoroughly
