The Metro Landsend Beach Resort

Though the location is right next to Baby beach, baby beach is taken over by defence & not accessible to the public which was disappointing. It's a private property not a resort. Rooms are good. However for the price service is not resort quality, there is a caretaker who manages the entire property, he is nice though. There is nothing for recreational activities. Breakfast - Since it's a small place (4 rooms) , the owner has arrangements with Mascot beach resort for breakfast. Some photos show there is a swimming pool, but those photos of the pool are of Mascot beach resort, property does not have a swimming pool. Overall relaxing experience

Disappointing Stay Despite a nice Location I recently stayed at Metro Lands End Beach Resort in Kerala, and while the location was stunning with fantastic views, the overall experience was quite disappointing. Here are the key issues I faced: Restricted Beach Access: Although the resort is situated right by the beach, guests are not allowed to go near the shoreline or access the water. If you want to enjoy the beach, you have to travel to Payyambalam Beach, which is a bit inconvenient and not particularly exciting as the waves there were quite calm. Room Maintenance: We booked 3 out of the 4 rooms available at the resort. While the infrastructure was decent, the rooms were poorly maintained. Each room had issues with the bathrooms: in one, the light didn't work; in another, there was no hot water; and in the third, there was no water at all. Despite informing the only staff member available, these problems remained unresolved. Service Quality: The resort seemed to be severely understaffed, with just one person trying to manage everything. There wasn't even a proper reception to address guests' concerns. This made it difficult to get basic services like an extra bed or assistance with the malfunctioning air conditioning (one room's AC wouldn't turn on, while in another, we couldn't reduce the temperature). Mediocre Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast was just passable, with items like idli, sambar, chutney, puttu, a sweet dish, juice, and fish curry. It wasn't anything special, especially considering the high room rate. Overall, paying 8K+ per room for this kind of service felt like poor value. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and improves the facilities and service quality to make the most of the resort's beautiful location.

Excellent location and extremely beautiful view from the metro landsend beach resort. We felt so happy after seeing the sea view location and it was a really awesome experience. I fully recommend it to people, It was just 1 km away from Kannur. The property owner is such a kind and humble person. Thank you

Very Much Homely, natural & calm place to relax with sea view & walkway

This Lovely place is located just 1km away from kannur town. The view from this beach resort property is Breathtaking and extremely Beautiful ..our stay was relaxing and enjoyed the beach view to the fullest, we took tons of pictures!! The highlight of our stay is the private beach view which was a wonderland and this was one of our best stay till date. The host is very friendly and cooperative, took care of us really well. We would love to visit again to this Beautiful stay :)

These people have mastered the art of conning people. Total rip off for the charges they are charging. They are not even following what we are expecting for 9.5 k per night. Total shocker for us. First thing they want to is full payment and then the care taker disappeared during our 3 days visit. As soon as we landed he started asking for the remaining payment and called us 100 times to make the payment. Then he didnt lift the phone for anything. The place is infested with mosquitoes, kids couldn't sleep. We called him for some assistance, he din't lift the phone. Nobody is available at the property, not even a single person to help. No housekeeping, no reception. I don't understand how he is running such a sham and fleecing people. No geyser/hot water in our room. He is saying nobody takes hot water bath in Kannur, ridiculous. Big cheat. If I knew how to complain to KTDC, I would have done. They dint change the linen for 3 days, nobody came to clean our rooms, really disgusting that we got cheated like this. And the icing of the cake, we could access the beach from the room for only 1 hour. It is closed because of some security reasons. That was never mentioned to us until we reached that place. Please avoid this place at all costs, responsible authorities should take action.

By far the best beach front property in Kannur. I have had the pleasure of hosting the first function in Metro Lands End for my sisters Sangeet and Haldi function. It was an awesome exp for my family and friends. I would like to thank the owner Mr Khader for providing us such a beautiful venue. The 4 rooms are designed with upmost quality and I am sure the guest will love it

Absolutely phenomenal service by owner. If you need a beachfront to be relaxed there is non like this resort. We got what we needed. Owner is just a call away if you need anything. Superb. 10/10
