Satin Sand Beach Resort

I visited this place twice. Mr.Mustafa needs a special mention here. He hosted us really well. He is an excellent chef himself. The rooms are pretty clean. And the beach is as close as 20 feet from the resort. The beach is a secluded and clean one. There is a hillock to the left of the beach. Don't miss to take the view of the beach from there. It is good for both family and bachelors group.||||It is very very under priced for the food and rooms it has. The thalaserry biriyani and vanjaram fry(sear fish) needs a special mention. The spa and fresh toddy (Drink from Coconut tree) they arrange at additional cost are really good.

Great location & beautiful view of the beach. Towels were consistently stocked and room kept clean. Wonderful Hut food at the Breezes & grill. No complaints at all, We stayed here for two nights in mid-April and had a very good experience. The resort is centrally located and is close to some of the major attractions - Good location - private, secluded beach - Awesome open space, lots of greens, Beach nearby - Rooms are reasonably comfortable and you get a pleasant view of the lawn from almost every room. - good free breakfast buffet

Thumbs up for Mustafa & Team, so cooperative they are. This is one of the few places in Kerala where we get food without coconut oil !!! Beach view is awesome !!! Rooms are ok but were manageable to stay. Really no restrictions for anything, we enjoyed the stay !! Overall its a good place, we can recommend this to other visitors !!

Awesome resort to rest or have fun . Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and all in working condition.Resort was very good and on perfect location. Resort was well maintained. Beach was very clean. Food in the resort was good with lots of options. An excellent choice as it is a really good place to chill out. We really enjoyed sitting on our verandah at sunrise and sunset

Resort has an excellent Location, Beach and near by areas are quite scenic, Resort is small but very Homely environment. Mustafa Uncle is Very Nice person and his hosting is excellent , all other staff was also very good and courteous. we will surely go back soon.

Stayed there in first week of Oct, 2015. It's a very simple place, don't expect much luxury. It costs 3000, a night (food included). Host and staff members are good, and caring. Food is good. They prepare, what you ask, which is good. ||The beauty of this place is access to beach, which in just in front of the property. It's a small and clean beach, which is ideal if you are looking for a relaxation holiday. Don't expect any beach rest chairs and music or parties happening on that beach. We used to carry chairs from the stay and used to enjoy evening at beach. It's more or less, like a private beach.|||||||||||The beauty about this place is it's location.

On arrival, first impressions are not great. gates don't fully open, and looks a bit over grown. Rooms are like small houses with 2 rooms and a bathroom. the first room had no furniture, so what is it for? the bed had the usual hard mattress and pillow, but does the job. small verandah area to sit on the most comfortable plastic chairs I have experienced - a real surprise.||||Although the rooms are not the best, the location makes up for it. just cross a small track onto the beach. spent most of our 5 days on the beach. it is very steep, often with big waves, so could be dangerous, but really enjoyed this.||||All meals are included, and Mustaf cooked a variety of dishes. some were better than others. We also made a few suggestions for breakfast, and he obliged. Almost anything is available, but you need to ask. there is no kind of menu. Beer, soft drinks, tea, coffee all there, but not offered. tea, coffee and water included, other drinks are extra.||||Rooms were not cleaned in 6 days, so we borrowed a broom to sweep the sand out, but again, maybe we should have asked.||||Mustaf did a great job for us, but the owner could make it so much better with a little bit of work.

It was 15th August and most of the resorts were full and then came the savior.n Boy what a HOST.As it was unplanned we 4 got the only room left without AC..At the first sight I was worried by looking at the room as I was the one who chose this resort. The room looks a bit old but is spacious and airy. The food was excellent. Whatever we ordered for came right away and that was served HOT. It would be a crime if I dont mention the name Mr. Jaheer, He prepared so delicious and tasty snacks and dinners and heeded to our request with a smile on his face all the time. It is one of the few beaches in India which has been spared the horror. Clean and serene, We jus LOVED the stay. Hats Off to you Mr Jaheer. Way to Go!!!
