Mascot Paradise Convention Center

I went here for a marriage Convenient location to reach from Bus stand and railway station. There is a good air conditioned hall suited for marriage and other functions. A dining hall on the ground floor. Also there is another building in front with rooms, underground parking and a restaurant. Cons: The place is congested altogether. Parking space is very less, has to park on the side of road The building don't have a shape, and no scope for photography

It's a good spot and only 15-20 minutes to railway station. It's a bit difficult to park on big functions. All the rooms and the auditorium are good.

The hotel rooms are average. It's like a 2 star hotel. Toilets are not cleaned but can be managed. The location of the hotel is very good, with good food options and beach at a walking distance. Overall if you want a budget hotel to just spend night, it's recommended

Not very attractive..Recently had attended a wedding there at Mascot Paradise Auditorium...Very old styled auditorium... The inside of auditorium is not spacious.. Overall not recommended... Accessibility is good.. Near SN Park, Alavil.... I felt the Auditorium was not maintained well... There is a Cafe at the entrance where one can get coffee,tea,snacks...

In October 2022, my friends and I went to Kannur for a reception. The host had booked rooms for us in Mascot Paradise Hotel. This hotel is located just ten minutes from the Kannur Railway Station. We were a group of four. Seeing the outside of the hotel, I wondered what the rooms would look like. I was pleasantly surprised and relieved when I entered my room! It was huge, with a large wardrobe, dressing table with vertical mirror, TV, Mini Fridge and a queen size bed. There is a medium size uncovered balcony attached to this room. The sheets and comforter were very clean. The towels were not too clean, so ensure you bring your own set. Toiletries are not provided either. In the bathroom, there is no shower curtain, so there are chances of the water flowing until the door. No geezer is installed in the bathroom since the management said they have solar on the roof. But if you are going to take a bath early in the morning, then let me warn you that you will not get hot water. I checked in around 10:30 a.m. and checked out the next day around 9:30 a.m. We did not eat breakfast the next day in the restaurant, but ate lunch in their in house restaurant, Cafe Maysoon, on the day we arrived. We also enjoyed glasses of piping hot filter coffee and a few local delicacies in the Cafe Maysoon located near the hotel's front gate. My friends stayed in the suite and I must say, this room was extremely spacious as well. Once you enter, you can see half of the room to the left with a Dressing Table with Mirror, Mini Fridge, Plush Sofa and Two Chairs. The Sofa opens out to a bed There is only one bathroom for the Suite Now moving to the other side of the room, you can find two twin size beds. My friends asked for an extra one as they were a total of three people. There is sufficient parking for two and four wheelers. This hotel is known for its wedding hall which is located at the back of the hotel. Can recommend this hotel for solo women travellers and for short, overnight trips.

The Rooms are great. Clean and spacious. Deluxe rooms are the best option. The Washrooms are also good. There is hotwater available with bathtub and washroom. Downsides: The management is not proper there is only one security guard who handles everything including the rooms.( The lockdown might have affected the normal working)

I booked a night at this hotel for July 8 mainly because the wedding I was attending was in a hall by the hotel. The hotel rooms are badly maintained. I got the same opinion from other family members who stayed in other rooms in the hotel. In my room, the bathroom shower and the toilet seats were broken. There was no sign of any housekeeping staff and looks like the bed sheets and pillow covers were not changed after previous customer. Not sure when they get washed if at all get washed. There was no hot water available in the bathroom. Only one towel per bed in the room and possibly not being washed. The host of the wedding indicated the hotel was under a new management and they were expecting good service. But looks like the hotel condition deteriorated after the recent management change. If anyone looking for hotel in the area, there are other better maintained hotels with similar or slightly higher price based on opinion I got from other family members who did not stay at this hotel.

Pros 1. Room is really big 2. Rate is cheap (around 750) 3. Hotwater is available Cons 1. Poorly maintained 2. Bed, towel, bedsheets - everything unhygienic and itchy. 3. The security guy is not cordial. We were a family including small kids and checked in very late. This guy made us wait half an hour to fill in the forms and all. In all other places we went, only one of us were asked to stay for filling up forms and register. This happened even after having a confirmed online prepaid booking. Avoidable.
