Kanbay Beach Resort.

This is the best resort ever! If you're looking for a beach resort, don't think twice--choose this one. Even if a beach resort isn't what you had in mind, you should still visit this place. It's truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The natural beauty, the clean beach, and the swaying coconut trees are absolutely breathtaking. The host is so kind and welcoming, and the service is beyond words. The property is very well maintained, and waking up to that stunning beach is an unforgettable experience. And the sunsets? You have to see them at least once--they're magical.

Very bad experience. After a long time we thought of a small family get together on my wife's bday. From the moment we set foot on this place the staffs were not welcoming at all. The place is quite scenic with a private beach resort n all but the staff here are least bothered and know nothing of what a good hospitality means. I don't think the owner cares anything as it is left in the hands of some carefree staffs. I would like to pin point a lady staff who thinks she owns it all. All they want is paying the money and only then ask for any service. I had Infact referred this place to my friends in bangalore but if this is the behaviour I dread asking anybody to go to this place to have some good time, Unless there is a change in their attitude.

Pros: Location - though it is on the beach, you cannot go to the sea directly. It is a cliff. But you get good breeze from the sea. Cons: No food available in-house. AC temperature control was broken. It was stuck at 18deg. We asked for extra blanket and they charged 50 for that. How cheap can you get??? Mirror in the room was missing. Hot water is not available 24X7. Washroom can be better maintained. Stairs to the room is so steep that you'll be scared. People with advanced age cannot climb. It is DEFINITELY not worth the money. They claim to be a 3* resort on MMT, but it is not worthy of even 1*. There are lot of other resorts on the same stretch of beach with better access to the beach too - just check for resorts on Thottada beach.

Very poor service. Messy rooms with lots and lots of red ants . Poor manager least interested in booking as she is busy with her dogs. The owner should give importance on how they are maintaining the property as staff is not cleaning the rooms and washrooms properly. The manager is least interested in dealing with customers and booking . She is busy clicking her own pictures. Poor service by the staff only the view is good . Apart from that nothing is worthy. Food is horrible . Rooms are not maintained properly. Online they will show tv facility but tv is not there. Towels and bedsheets are not changed the other day. Same towels they are rearranging.

Only the beach side view is a good option and satisfying. No room service like cleaning the room, and washroom,changing the bedcovers, insects roaming in the room, smell in bathroom and no proper shower. No Hot water service. No proper trained staff and the staff is very disrespectful.

View is breathtaking. No food/tea available, you can order from Zomato/Swiggy.The room I got, there washroom was leaking, shower not working properly,no hot water. Room was decent. Stairs were steep. Service was good.

Its view is amazing with sea and coconut plants, probably the best i have stayed so far. You sleep and wake up with sound of waves. Downside is no food option, not even tea. Nearby restaurants are also far atleast 3-4 km away. Washroom and room can be better.

Hospitality is very good, staff are good. Especially cook was from north india and he caught our attention and all the dishes he made were tasty. I was wondering abt food always in Kerala this kanbay resort have you covered if you are non keralite. The location is simply amazing peace and calm. And it is the nearest beach to Mysore
