Hotel Kannur Capital

Stayed at the budget double bed room, which i think is the cheapest room in the hotel. As it is the cheapest, the cleanliness is cheap too. The rooms aren't clean, including the beds and bedsheets. The bathroom is also nothing to boast about. The staff said that they have other rooms which are good and clean but they come at a cost. If you are to choose a room here, choose the ac rooms or deluxe rooms. Thank me later.

My recent stay at Hotel Kannur Capital was a rather disappointing experience. Despite initially reaching an agreement on the terms and conditions with the person (I think muhad) the front desk, I encountered several issues that left me feeling cheated and dissatisfied. Upon checking in at 8pm, I made it clear to the front desk representative that I would be checking out at 7pm the following day. I also mentioned that if they couldn't provide a 24-hour checkout, I would prefer to book online as it was cheaper. The person at the front desk agreed to my requests, and I proceeded with my stay. However, during the checkout process the next day, I was surprised to be confronted by another staff member demanding an additional fee for a late checkout. Feeling trapped in the situation, I reluctantly paid the fee. This lack of clear communication left me feeling deceived and unsatisfied with the service provided. To further add to my frustration, the payment for the late checkout was only accepted in cash or UPI to a different number. The staff directed me to make the payment through Google Pay to a different number. This raised suspicions and made me question the integrity of the hotel's payment process. In terms of the hotel's location, it is situated on an inner lane that may not be suitable for families. During my stay, I noticed that many people in the vicinity were smoking and appeared to be intoxicated, which raised concerns about safety and security. Another drawback of the hotel is the absence of an in-house restaurant. Guests are required to order food from external delivery services such as Swiggy and Zomato. While this may be convenient for some, it does limit the dining options available and detracts from the overall hotel experience. On a positive note, the hotel's proximity to the bus stand and city center was advantageous. This made it convenient for transportation and exploring the city. Additionally, the rooms were kept clean, which was a redeeming aspect of the hotel. However, considering the issues with miscommunication, the questionable payment process, and the lack of on-site dining facilities, I found the hotel to be overpriced and ultimately dissatisfying. It is disappointing that the hotel failed to inform me about the additional charges beforehand, leaving me feeling deceived and dissatisfied with my stay at Hotel Kannur Capital.

In the heart of the city of Kannur, it is a room to suit every taste.. I'm happy with their service..

It is budget friendly and average maintained

Comfortable stay for my long visits in Kannur. Peaceful ambience and cooperative staff. Aslam will be your man for any extended service. Keep up the good service KC!

Worst travel experience i ever had. Such a bad business minded staff and management who doesn't know the meaning of service or humankind.
