Gateway Airport Hotel

Hotel did not have a lift although it was listed under amneties in the booking site. Hot water was not available at 4 am in the morning. But very close to Kannur international airport and suitable for travellers taking early morning or middle of night flights.

My stay at Gateway Airport Hotel was quite frustrating. Although there was a TV in the room, the Dish TV service was not working. When I brought this up to the manager, I was told, If you had told us the Dish TV was not working, we would have activated it. This should have been done automatically, especially for a service as basic as TV. I found it frustrating to have to request something that should be standard in any hotel. For a hotel serving travelers, this lack of attention to detail and service is unacceptable. I would not recommend this place if you expect basic amenities to work without having to ask.

Rude receptionalist and very small Toilet and flush was not working... Very bad experience

Any good impression created on the hotel can easily be spoiled by the crassness behaviour of the welcoming staff. Inoperative television and slower internet connection are the other major drawbacks. Average stay experience

Even the flush worked according to its whims and fancies in the crammed toilet. If one has to use the shower, keep all your dress outside least they become wet. The approach road to the hotel is too bad in shape. If my advice can be of any help, please search for a better place. Very sorry for this negative feedback.

Very close to Kannur airport (CNN) , just 2.5 kms away. We stayed here for night before leaving to Kuwait next day morning. The rooms were AC rooms and well maintained. Rooms had water 2 bottles and spacious enough for 2 people. On request they provided dental pack which had 1 tooth brush and small paste in a sealed pack. And also they have arranged us airport taxi to travel to airport for early morning flight. Overall very good experience. Those who are looking for a budget stay near CNN airport, transit hotel is a good option.

I checked-in along with my colleague at this hotel. They don't have many guests In infact i think we were the only one at the time. So the service provided to us was good. Rooms & toilets are small but clean & well maintained. If you are here for any business meet i will recommend this hotel. Definitely not for leisure because the TV is too small and no restaurant is available. Also be aware that my airtel & jio network was not having network inside the room, the wifi services they provided saved me.

Its a new property, well maintained and a budget hotel. I stayed for a night, the restaurant service was closed due to low occupancy and the covid pandemic issues. However they cater to your food needs from the close by restaurant. What i disliked was the hot water supply which they need to accept that there is no hot water service rather ask you to keep tap open for sometime till hot water comes in... I wasted 200 liters of water without the slighest change in temp. Sad.
