I went there with my mother who is 60+ and stayed in the aerial view room. The view from the room is worth the bucks. |The food was good and is decently priced. So eating at the hotel was not heavy on the pocket. The ambience and location make up for any slights if at all. |But more than that, it is the service of both back of the house and front of the house staff which is touching and exemplary. ||Given my mom is old and strict vegetarian, they were very considerate and were indulging of her lifestyle requirements. They greeted warmly and also took care of every need we could possibly have. The whole staff of the hotel including the kitchen were very kind and warm. They also let my mom take some raw mango from their tree. Which touched my mom's heart. ||This place is going to be my recommendation to all my acquaintances visiting Wayanad. ||Thank you for a memorable stay.

"We recently celebrated our anniversary at this stunning resort, and it was truly unforgettable. The location is mesmerizing, with cottages and rooms offering breathtaking views of the Karapuzha Dam. The infinity pool is a highlight, with panoramic views that will leave you spellbound. The resort is a photographer's paradise, with numerous photo spots that will keep you snapping all day long. Amenities include outdoor and indoor games, bonfires, and a rejuvenating spa. The rooms are neat, clean, and cozy, with balconies offering serene views and the soothing sounds of bird chirping. What truly made our stay special was the candlelight dinner arrangement by the poolside - the decor was exceptional, and it felt like a private dining experience. However, the food was a letdown, especially for vegetarians. While the service was good, the quality of meals didn't quite match the resort's ambiance. Despite this, we'd highly recommend this resort for those seeking a peaceful getaway. The views are simply breathtaking, and the resort's tranquility makes it an ideal spot for relaxation. Even photos don't do justice to the beauty of this place - you have to experience it for yourself!"

This Resort is a visual beauty, greens all across, very peaceful, directly overseeing the lake. We were occupying C6A and C6B which were interconnected and had a balcony with a beautiful view. There are a lot of options for kids to play including the swimming pool, Trampoline, Bicycle, cricket etc. Would like to Thank Jobish and his team namely Ashley, Shagil, Syam and Don for their outstanding service and support. Also a heartfelt Thanks to Chef Muneer for the awesome food and delicacies that he served throughout our stay. And last but not the least, Thanks to Riyas who not only took care of our cab services taking us to places of our interest for sight seeing, food etc. but also extended his support beyond his area of work. Thank you all for making our stay one of the most memorable one.

Our recent stay(May1-4) at LAKEROSE resort in Wayanad was an absolute delight, offering a refreshing break amidst the lush greenery the region is famous for. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a sense of peace and tranquility, making it an ideal getaway, especially for families.||The Setting: The resort lives up to its promise of being "so green." The entire property is a haven of vibrant foliage, with towering trees, well-maintained gardens, and a refreshing atmosphere.||Our Cottage: We stayed in one of their superior lake view, which was charming and comfortable. The interiors were tastefully done, providing a cozy and inviting ambiance. We particularly appreciated the attention to cleanliness; the cottage was spotless and well-maintained throughout our stay. The space was also ample for our family of 3, offering a sense of privacy and convenience.||Food Delights (Especially the Kerala Puttu!): The food options at LAKEROSE were impressive, catering to various palates. We were particularly thrilled to find authentic Kerala Puttu on the menu for breakfast! It was absolutely delicious - soft, fluffy, and served with flavorful peas curry and steam banana. The other meals were also well-prepared, with a good mix of local and other cuisines. The staff were always happy to accommodate any specific requests or dietary needs.||Ease of Travel: Reaching LAKEROSE was quite straightforward. The roads leading to the resort were in good condition, and it was easily accessible by car. The resort also provided ample parking space. We didn't face any difficulties in finding or reaching the location.||Cleanliness and Safety: As mentioned earlier, cleanliness was a top priority at LAKEROSE. Not only were the cottages immaculate, but the entire resort premises, including the common areas and the pool, were exceptionally clean and well-maintained. For families with kids, the resort felt very safe and secure, allowing us to relax and enjoy our time without any worries.||Kid-Friendly Amenities: LAKEROSE is definitely a kid-friendly resort. The open spaces and the abundance of nature provided ample room for children to run around and play freely. The staff were also very warm and welcoming towards kids.||The swimming pool was a highlight for our Carr family. It was well-sized, clean, and provided a refreshing escape, Our kids thoroughly enjoyed spending time in the pool, and it was a great way for the whole family to relax and have fun together. Carrom, chess, snake n ladder, TT likewise many to engage||Memorable Campfire Nights: The campfire arranged by the resort in the evenings 8pm onwards( seasonal /climate dependent) was a fantastic experience for the entire family. Gathering around the crackling fire under the starlit sky, sharing stories, and enjoying the peaceful ambiance created lasting memories. It was a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring Wayanad.||Overall: Our experience at LAKEROSE resort in Wayanad was truly exceptional. It's a place where you can reconnect with nature, enjoy comfortable and clean accommodations, savor delicious food (especially if you're a fan of Kerala Puttu!), and create wonderful family memories. The ease of travel, coupled with the kid-friendly and safe environment, makes it a highly recommended destination for families looking for a serene and enjoyable getaway in Wayanad. We left feeling refreshed and would definitely consider returning in the future.

A Perfect Family Getaway by the Karapuzha Reservoir Our stay at this resort was nothing short of wonderful. The location, right next to the serene Karapuzha reservoir, made for a peaceful and scenic retreat. The resort is well-maintained, with lush greenery and clean, comfortable spaces. It's an excellent choice for families with kids. There's plenty to keep children engaged-- a well-kept swimming pool, both indoor and outdoor games, a special kids' menu, and other fun activities designed for young guests. The food was great, with a good mix of local Kerala delicacies and the flexibility to customize dishes to our preference. The staff was friendly, always ready to assist, and made our stay even more enjoyable. A special highlight was the complimentary upgrade to a better room, which was a pleasant surprise and added to the overall experience. Highly recommend this resort for families looking for a relaxing yet fun-filled getaway!

We recently stayed at this beautiful property in Wayanad for 2 nights, and honestly, it was beyond anything I had imagined. Coming all the way from Delhi, we weren't sure what to expect -- but this place quickly felt like a new home. Right from the warm welcome with fresh watermelon juice, everything was thoughtfully done. The rooms were spacious, clean, and cozy -- and such a lovely surprise to find a plate of fresh fruits waiting for us. The balcony overlooked a serene pond, and waking up to that view with the sounds of nature around was just magical. The entire property is peaceful and has a calm, serene vibe. It's the kind of place where you instantly feel relaxed. The massage and spa services were surprisingly pocket-friendly and very rejuvenating. Breakfast was a lavish spread with a good mix of local and continental options -- everything was fresh and delicious. In the evenings, they had traditional dance performances followed by a bonfire -- a perfect way to end the day. We honestly couldn't find a single thing to complain about. Every little detail was taken care of, and the hospitality was truly heartwarming. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, this is the place. It has now become one of our favorite spots, and I know we'll be coming back again.

The resort offers a wonderful view, and although the property is small, it's quite charming and captivating. There's definitely room for improvement in housekeeping, staff responsiveness, and overall service quality. However, despite these shortcomings, it was a pleasant and peaceful stay overall.
