Lake Palace Hotel

Not stayed and so the ratings above are just because of the behaviour of the hotel even before we could check in. Had booked through Booking.com for a May end trip. Gave Credit Card guarantee in the booking. But without assigning any reason, the property cancelled the booking. So be wary of such properties. They can ruin your trip. Take caution before booking this one.

Tanuj and I hosted our wedding at Lake palace hotel over the last 3 days. The property is absolutely stunning, its lake side, rooms are spacious and most of them have a lake view as well. Pool is everyone's favourite special to beat the heat!! The hospitality is on point and food was loved by all guests. They were surprised to get such delicious North Indian food in Kerala apart from the amazing Kerala cuisine. The management is very friendly and supportive. They are well aware of the requirements to conduct a wedding at their space and guide you from day 1!!!! Highly recommend you to visit the space with you fam and loved ones.

Good lake facing property with excellent support staff. The place is quiet and apt for a peaceful getaway for a family. Though rooms and fittings are old and doesn't have anything flashy or recently added it's very spacious and has everything you expect from a hotel room. Overall my family loved it ..The weather wasn't great the week we visited ..hence we couldn't benefit from lake access and playground in the property

Stay was very nice. Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

We stayed at the hotel for nearly two weeks. It was our group gathering with conference. The service at the restaurant and conference hall was top class. ||Food was the best. Some of the Kerala dishes were outstanding. Though our stay was long, each meal was different. International guests were very impressed with the food and service.||Quality of the accommodation and house keeping is the best in its class. ||Location is beautiful, with lake view rooms offering a beautiful view of the lake, garden and the pool. The quiet and serene environment is just right to unwind and relax. Nevertheless, the location provides easy accessibility to the city, beaches and other areas of interest. ||Special thanks to Mr. Manoj Kumar, the GM, Mr. Fuji the Front Desk Manager and Mr. Ebenezer, the chief chef, the IT Manager and Maintenance staff as well as the staff at the Restaurant, specifically Rahul went above and beyond to ensure we had a smooth conference and an enjoyable stay. They were very polite and always willing to help.||We'd love to visit again!

We visited for evening Team Outing + Buffet. They gave us a hall for get-together, but it was only a bit larger than a room. The time limit for the complementary bedroom (one), was 9pm and we weren't informed before hand about this. There is a common pool, with time limit at 6.30-6.45pm and it is not very large. The lake facing side is very beautiful and from hotel's location, one should be able to view sunrise. But this is not well maintained, and there are no proper walkways or seats along the lake. Their Buffet had only limited options and only half the dishes tasted good. Only suited for smaller groups.

wonderful stay with breathtaking views of the lake! The hotel was very nice, and the staff were polite and helpful .The rooms were ok. The food from room service was excellent. We booked a room with lake and pool views, and the view was stunning. Really enjoyed the stay and will definitely come back. Highly recommend.

We chose this property for an team outing and buffet, but it turned out to be a disappointing experience. The hall provided for our gathering was cramped, feeling more like an oversized room than a proper event space. The pool was another letdown--it was small, overcrowded, and closed as early as 6:45 PM. While the lake-facing area had potential with its scenic views and sunrise opportunity, it was neglected, lacking basic amenities like walkways or seating. The buffet was underwhelming, offering limited choices, and only a few dishes were genuinely enjoyable. The property, which markets itself as 5-star, doesn't live up to the claim. The facilities feel outdated and inadequate, making it more suitable for smaller groups. Adding to the discomfort was the shared entrance with a local bar, which felt unsafe at night, especially for families, despite the presence of security. Overall, the experience failed to meet expectations, and the property's shortcomings overshadowed its few redeeming qualities.
