AVOID this property. Owner refused to acknowledge our confirmed booking through Expedia. No-one was there when we arrived. We spoke with the owner by phone who said we must wait until 7pm for the caretaker. A room was open but was unclean with an unmade bed and bad smell probably from cigarettes. AVOID... we found much better accommodation nearby. Below, the response from the owner is DISINGENUOUS... he knew we were coming as I booked through Expedia who had taken my money (later refunded after an Expedia representative spoke with the owner). The owner denied on the phone to me that he used Expedia... patently not true... his place is advertised there, though do not waste your time, effort or money booking it!! He also knew we were coming because I spoke to him the day before... AVOID this place!!!

Great hangout space for a group.Spacious rooms,great food and friendly host. Some really good spots to visit near and the boating through the mangrove forest is remarkable.

The rooms are in very poor condition. One room does not even have a bathroom. This place may be suitable for drinking alcohol but is not appropriate for families. The bathrooms are substandard and not suitable for a comfortable stay. Don't stay

Not suitable for family. Only for guys to hangout and drink. Very bad experience from the staff and management. Only concentrating for money. Rooms are poor. Better to take hotel rooms

This home stay needs major renovation, I had spider webs and lizards in our room, we booked stay for 12 people and 6 rooms, no one had a good review, Manager was friendly

Stayed here in April 2022 for a few days with family. The host was very welcoming and the caretaker looked after us very well. He cooks very well. The Bird Sanctuary is nearby and also the beaches. Kadalundi Heritage is a very nice cosy place to stay with your family.

This is a nice and calm place to stay. There are some medium sized ac and non ac rooms and a small living space and a spacious dining hall downstairs which can be used to host small function. Rooms and bathroom were ok. some rooms doesn't have geyser and exhaust fan. Owner and caretaker is friendly and will help you to arrange food from outside if needed. Ideal for small team of bachelors and family who prefer a calm place. Don't expect a proper hotel set up. May not be suitable for elderly people as it is in first floor . Overall Good.
