Nucleus Pleasance Thekkady - Resort

For me this was a scam. The description in Agoda do not match at all. First of all I had payed 8000 ind for an extra bed wich in real meant a madress on the floor! Totally unacceptable, especially at that price.|They do not have a restaurante wich at that location is a real unconvinience.|I have booked 3 nights and it tok a HUGE unpleseant fight to cancel that. The main office in Kochi refused but thanks to the local manager we only had to pay for one night. No blame on him, he is doing a good job under bad circomstances.|We left straight away since sleeping on the floor is a total dealbreaker.

Not at all reliable resort, did my booking 2 months ago and paid the full amount and yet they canceled my booking one day before checkin just because these greedy people booked the room for other direct customers. Not at all recommended and be aware of these scammers

Rooms are very comfortable and clean comes with a private balcony and an amazing view. Car parking is available, the only con as of now is the restaurant is not open yet we have to go outside for food.

Spread over an extensive area of 100,000 sq.ft land and 55000 sq.ft building space, we have deluxe rooms with balconies, suites, wooden cottages, pool villa with jacuzzi . We also boast of an excellent lobby with a cafe multi-cuisine restaurant, spa, play area, outdoor gym , children's play area, local indigenous flora, flowering and fruit trees on-property, trekking paths, 270- degree view point connected to jungle walk way . Guests might also be able to catch a glimpse of local fauna in the jungles around.

There is no restaurant. You have to order a food from outside. Bathroom is ok ok. |Room size is small.||View is good from the room. Breakfast is not so good. They will serve in a room with limited options

I am satisfied that the service given from the dew resort staff. Room are neat n clean. But small in size suitable for couples. View from hotel is good. One thing I would like to expect that the mirror in room. As for dressing table there is little space inside room. Overall good service n hotel. I recommend it all

A Beautiful Place To Stay With. Loved the Atmosphere.Especially the services of the staff was good. Every Staff of the Hotel was Friendly and was Kind. Overall EveryThing In the Hotel was Good And Friendly. Had a Great Time. Will Visit Again.

I booked this hotel for parents via some online hotel booking website. My parents had horrible experience. Couple of points they mentioned (They are the one who requested me to write review on tripadvisor after coming back) - No welcome, no communication on arrival - They didn't even gave towels and soaps in room - My father requested atleast 4-5 times then only some person came up with 1 towel and 1 soap ?? - Room didn't get cleaned for all 3 days my parents stayed in. When they asked receptionist casually said due to privacy issues we don't clean rooms when guests are staying there ?? - When my dad inquired about room service and restaurant he got response that hotel and restaurant are operated by two different entities so they don't know anything about restaurant and food they can provide I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.. Please avoid it. They are not professional and don't care about Guest or customers. Room service is as very bad ,they even don't serve drinking water on time . Customer support at reception wasn't there (we were forced to carry our heavy bags ) . Unhygienic rooms ,overall no value for customer. I went in for dinner to the same hotel at around 8:15 PM in the evening and ordered some rotis followed by fried-rice. The rotis came after 15-20 minutes along with curry. We finished our rotis and waited for fried-rice. We waited for the rotis with the presence of biting mosquitoes. Our hands got dried, and kept on requesting for our order. We were not daring enough to order any more things from him afraid of may be spending our night in the dining hall. It was almost 40-50 minutes since we ordered our food. We got frustrated with waiting, lost our appetite too and started walking towards the bill counter to pay the bill. The manager called the supplier and asked for the bill. I waited in the counter for the bill. I got the bill. T0 my surprise, the bill included all the items like Roti, curry and fried-rice. This was added with the tax on top cost of food items. We had some argument about the bill for fried-rice also. I requested him not to include the bill for rice, but his argument was "We have billed for whatever you ordered only. You need to wait till the food comes. We can not cancel the order" I talked to him about the time they take to prepare as I had already spent about 50 minutes waiting for the food. He only said that "These employees are with me for last two years, I have not got any complaint against them and now you need to pay" I was forced to pay the bill. Still today I do not understand "How can there be no complaint against anyone if he has had not complaint in the last two years [I know he was lying ] I feel that the Managements, of Hotels at least where "Hospitality" is of at most importance, should have some manners in handling the human beings and should be willing to listen first. They are not fit to work for organizations like a hotel business. This is a request to all to check for the credibility of the hotel before checking-in.
