Holy Village Home Stay

Four of us friends had taken the dorm room for our accommodation. We upgraded to Ac dorm since it was extremely hot but the AC wasn't working and they refused to fixed it. Although the location of the stay is really good, and the property is maintained but the service wasn't up to the mark. There wasn't any drinking water, food, no bedsheets or clean washroom area. The stay might be okay if you're taking the rooms but we don't recommend their dorms at all.

Our family, including our three kids, recently stayed at Holiday Village Kanjiravelly Homestay, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and at ease. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the food--authentic Kerala delicacies that were not only delicious but also offered a wide variety of traditional flavors. Every meal was a treat!The rooms were clean, spacious, and had a stunning panoramic view of the natural surroundings. We loved that the homestay is nestled in such a serene environment, with a peaceful, eco-friendly ambiance . The kids had a fantastic time the play area and splashing around in the river, where they enjoyed a safe and fun bathing experience. Thank you to Mr. Basil , the visionary proprietor, for creating such a beautiful and calming retreat. . We left with a refreshed spirit and many happy memories. Highly recommend this homestay to anyone seeking a luxurious, peaceful getaway in nature!

Holy Village Homestay was a beautiful place to visit.. the food was fantastic and the room comfortable. A relaxing location tucked in the bush next to a river of reverence.. a sat on the river one evening with a friendly neighbour and was very grateful for having chooses to visit Holy Village. There was mention that at dusk the elephants will come out of the jungle to drink and wash in the river.. I unfortunately did not see this.. but if you got the chance it would be amazing! We found this place so last minute and the family accommodated us! Although they speak no English the nephew of the owner is an incredibly intelligent young man who helped us to communicate and was just a very attentive boy. The food cooked for breakfast lunch and dinner was delicious and we were taken care of very well. Had a very homely feeling here. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. The location is stunning and the river is just on the doorstep! Incredible waters. Although we were told we weren't allowed to swim in it (not sure why?) we did and I really haven't swam in such a beautiful place with such fresh water! Really recommend!

Best homestay experience I've ever had :) rolled into the village on my bike in the afternoon, and despite me not speaking any Malayalam, the family made me feel so taken care of. They cooked amazing food, introduced me to others in the village and were so attentive. It's a gorgeous spot by the river, super peaceful and quiet. Room was lovely with a view of the jungle outside. I hope to be back one day!

Awesome experience.. We had a great day. 3 family with individual rooms. We enjoyed the time in the river even my 2.5 years old child cherished running and splashing through the banks of the river. There was a huge sand bank in the middle where we all played volley ball. At night we had a fire camp near by. Full support from the owner and the team. The breakfast was delicious. Overall It's an experience to be experienced not by words. You have to experience the service and things over here I will definitely come back for this place thank you Basil

Located a comfortable drive distance away from neriamangalam town, this home stay is a good choice on low budget. Dormitory facility is available. Not much to boast about the ambience. Pocket friendliness is the highlight

Marvelous experience Basil and team rocks. Excellent service by them will definitely come back. Enjoyed a lot in the river and banks with families and friends, played volley ball in the beach. Safe for kids also Even for kindergarten. Fire camp at night with music and barbecue was once in a life experience. There is more to go. Walk in the woods was refreshing
