By far this was the worst hotel experience I've ever had , in the photos it looks fair but when you reach there you will understand the reality.the location is really good because it's very close to the temple but the rooms were horrible the bathrooms weren't clean when I layed on the bed I felt like som thorns were pricking me I don't think they clean this after a person leaves . The staff weren't too nice the elevators weren't working and the whole place looked eerie. Garbage and waste was scattered in the building here and there . The only good thing was that it's near the temple. We had two rooms one facing the temple area and when we opened the balcony we could find an elephant there that was nice . But my overall experience was bad it was my first time in guruvayoor and Im not sure if I'll visit again . Please don't loose your money by staying here. Thankyou

There is no proper reception area & staff due to some administrative issue of theirs. Neither room boys are there nor room service is provided. Nobody of hotel was seen after I paid & occuied a room till I vacated next day. Mattress are old & hard. AC was not working properly. Not enough lights or working plug points in the room. Only positive is the owner who took the booking & the caretaker lady who admitted me were very polite & cultured. My request to the owner is rectify your internal issue & take care of room facilities and your hotel will be full always. Because of the very near location to temple.

It is has to take rooms (if you can't find anything). The facilities are not so well. The room is good enough for 3 person in which I have stayed. One double bed and 1 single bed. They provide pillow and one blanket. I came here in September so no use of Airconditioner. I have paid 2000 for 2 person for 8 am to 6 am (next day), but usually Checkin time: 3 PM Checkout time: 2 PM Pros: 1. Near to temple. 2. Hot water Cons: 1. Room not well maintained. 2. They are not cleaning rooms properly after guests. 3. Bathroom is in very bad condition. PS: We have to take the room if it is some factival because all other hotels are booked.

I recently stayed at this place with my parents. Our non AC room was not ready and we were given another room which was AC without being told that they would charge us for it later. The room was filthy, unclean sheets, broken furniture, smelly filthy toilets, torn bedsheets, cockroaches and red ants everywhere. Both ac and non-ac rooms are filthy. The rooms have white tiles on walls which are stained with blood of squashed mosquitoes, Just disgusting!!||||The day we checked out they asked us money though we had booked through clear trip. They said we don't know which website you booked this from. They also charged us for the AC room even though we argued that we had to take it because they offered it as a replacement for our original room that was not clean when we reached. The staff at the counter was so rude. My dad is a heart patient and 64 years old they were so rude to him, me and my mother. No hotel can survive if they don't have the basic decency to deal with customers. At one point the big guy almost shoved my dad away saying don't come back. There was a fat guy as well who just keeps loitering around and scares people and doesn't do any work. The reception seemed like the entrance to a shady hotel.The night we arrived he was just sitting there watching some cheap dance on the TV. He was the one who started abusing us during checkout. It would be better to stay at a roadside tea shop than come to Veeramani tourist home, now called Vaikundham. I would never recommend this place to anyone to stay especially family folks with elders. Our trip to Guruvayoor was made a miserable one because of staying at this filthy place run by people who don't know how to talk to customers and respect them.

Poor room and no fecility their.bad customer service.room rent is very high.non ac room amount 2300 but no fecility their.door lock is not working properly,no bed sheet.tube light is very poor quality.for family stay not recommond this tourist home

Rooms aren't clean. Big room but u will feel very disgusted if u stay here . The bedsheets aren't even changed after using as there were dust and dirt in the bedsheet don't come here . Over priced to

Unfortunately I booked a room here and had the worst experience. The room was not at all maintained properly. Damaged wardrobe and an out of order television. The bathroom had neither a shower nor a proper toilet seat. Also had to deal with some unpleasant staff who were very much irritated for asking a bedsheet! The place needs better maintenance and supervision.

I had the worst possible experience imaginable at this Tourist home. The double room we were given did not even have a toilet seat. Moreover when we raised this complaint the guy at the reception was very rude and refused to do anything about it. The sheets and pillow covers given to us were really dirty. ... I would strongly discourage anyone from getting a room here if he/she wants to have a good time at Guruvayoor. ...
