Sree Gokulam Vanamala

I had a great stay at Gokulam Vanamala. The hotel was extremely clean, with spotless rooms and well-maintained surroundings. It's located very close to the temple, which made it very convenient for us. All essential toiletries were provided, and the luggage pickup service was quick and smooth. The stay was absolutely worth the money. I had forgotten some personal items after checkout, and they couriered everything back to me without charging a single rupee. Their honesty and guest care were truly impressive. Highly recommended!

The best part is the location. Walking distance to the temple. Had booked Family triple room which was fairly decent. We ordered most of the food in room service which was fast, taste was ok. Interiors are fairly well done. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Hot water was available in morning. Overall service was good. Rates felt a bit on the higher side but maybe the premium due to temple proximity. Decent sized parking was available as well.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Advantages: 1. Very close to the temple. It's on South entrance which is not that crowded compared to other entrances to the temple. 2. Parking space - though limited, they have dedicated, secure parking space which is a luxury in Guruvayoor. 3. Disabled friendly access - they have wheelchair friendly access, They even have a wheelchair which we can use to visit the temple. 4. Service - the staff are very friendly, they will help in parking, with luggage, wheelchair etc. Cons: 1. Food is not that great. There are many cheaper options outside. 2. Rooms - rooms are not well maintained . Lights were not working, AC was decades old. Overall it's a nice stay option, very close to the temple,

This hotel is a fantastic choice for those seeking a comfortable stay near the Guruvayur Temple. The rooms are well-appointed and offer a peaceful atmosphere. The service is good, and the staff is always ready to assist with any needs. While it can fill up quickly, especially during peak season, it's definitely worth planning ahead to secure a room. I highly recommend this hotel for its quality and convenient location.

The location is the best aspect of this Hotel, it's so close to Guruvayoor temple. The rooms are decent, sheets were changed before we checked in but the blanket was not changed, I could see stains on it. But there is a kettle, tea coffee sachets & dental kit plus soap, shampoo & oil. Their restaurant food is getting worse every coming year though, I do not enjoy their food anymore.

Have been staying in Vanamala everytime we visit Guruvayoor here for almost 20 years. Accessibility and proximity to the temple is the highlight, you can leave you slippers and gadgets in the room itself and walk into the temple. The rooms are very spacious especially when you come as a family of four. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. The restaurant closes by 10pm but if you are attending the sevilli, you can order in advance for room service! Win win! On a side note,The shower water is really good and the temperature is perfect, just like you would want when you wake up 3am.

Not sure about the lodging services. I love the food over there. Humble staff. You want to meet genuine humans they are there in the form of security guards.

Visited the restaurant today. Service is too too slow. Younger waiters where good but old waiters were of some heavy attitude. Kind of spoiled the mood of the night. Food was okay okay. Masala dosa was good. But oottappam wasn't cooked well. Never going to visit again.
