REGANT HOTEL

We traveled from Coimbatore and reached Guruvayoor around midnight. We chose to stay at Regant Hotel for a few hours of rest before visiting the Aanakottai Elephant Camp in the morning. The room was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate six members, including kids. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained. Drinking water was provided as a complimentary service. However, no soap or toiletries were given, which could be improved. Overall, a decent and convenient stay for short visits.

Regent Hotel at Guruvayur is a budget-friendly option, offering fair cleanliness standards. However, guests should lower their expectations regarding bathroom amenities. Hot water is available, but toiletries are only provided upon request. It's worth noting that blankets are not included in the room, so guests should bring their own if needed. One aspect that may impact the quality of stay is the presence of mosquitoes, which can disturb sleep at night. Additionally, they don't serve food. Despite this, the hotel boasts a prime location within walking distance of both the Guruvayoor temple and the Mammiyoor temple, making it convenient for religious pilgrimage. The room rates are as follows: - 1000 per room without A/C - 1500 per room with A/C Additionally, the quadrant bedrooms offer the convenience of accommodating up to six people, making it a suitable option for groups or families. Overall, Regent Hotel at Guruvayur offers a reasonable stay option for those looking to explore the nearby temples, but guests should be prepared for some minor inconveniences.

Good place Rooms very neat. Had little issue with the leakage with the washbasin tap

The room was just average. It was neat and clean. Nothing fancy. Okay for a night. But the location is proper! Because it's almost in between Mammiyoor temple and Guruvayoor temple. So visiting both of these temples is effortless. It's just a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Autorickshaws are also available nearby. There is a Vegetarian restaurant called New Bharati near the hotel which is on the first floor of another building, which is super recommended, especially the Madala Dosa which was very nice (they've got a special masala I guess). Btw, the restaurant that I mentioned has nothing to do with the hotel rooms, I mentioned it just because it's nearby the rooms. The overall experience of the room was average and okay. Pick the hotel just for the location. Price: INR 1000/- without A/C INR 1500/- with A/C

Was there on a Non Festive Weekday. But the charges were too high compared to even star rated hotels around. Couldn't avoid as the booking was made by a person known to us. Normal facilities. Toiletries were provided upon request only.

Decent place to stay for a short duration. Vantage distance to Guruvayoor Sreekrishna Temple and Mammiyoor Siva Temple.

Nice stay, comfortably placed between guruvayur Sreekrishna temple and Mammiyoor temple... the host is very friendly and serves you well... the restaurant is not open nowadays...
