Not Worth the Price - Mosquito Problem I paid 2500 for an apartment, which is quite high considering the facilities provided. The location is convenient, within walking distance of the temple, but the stay was terrible due to mosquitoes. I had seen multiple Google reviews mentioning this issue, yet the management seems least concerned. The washroom experience was even worse, as mosquitoes made it impossible to use peacefully. Additionally, there are no restaurants or shops nearby. The caretaker was polite, but he completely lied about the mosquito problem. If you have other accommodation options, go for them. I stayed here only because no other rooms were available.

Not a great place and not a bad either. Booked last minute and started to guruvayur. Rooms were clean and care taker Mr. Subramanian was of much help at odd times. Pros 1. Calm and cozy rooms. 2. 500mts to north nada. Walkable. 3. 700 mts to railway station. Cons 1. Mosquitoes will eat you alive. Management must take this very serious 2. No restaurant attached or even nearby. 3. For anything you have to go 500mts.

Located In a calm area. As it's new apartment and rooms are clean. Once check in is done don't expect any help. None was found in and around. Mosquito is big problem. I suggest to have mosquito nets for bathroom vents and windows. No restaurant attached. No shops near by. It's okay for a one night stay. It's very reasonably priced. I km walk to North nada.

We had a great stay at this place.was not a preplanned event and so i could book rooms a couple of days before only.read a lot of negative reviews but I could book only this.but was too good.we booked three rooms. The rooms are kind of 1BHK or studio apartment type. The living room is ok type with a sofa cum bed.kitchen area is also ok. Bedroom is small but not crowded.washroom is ok. It was clean and we're provided clean linen and all other amenities. Most importantly my 6m baby was comfortable here n slept calmly. The caretaker,Soman was very helpful. The place is not at walkable distance from temple. It's not a posh hotel setup.its an apartment type stay. You can very well choose this place if you are planning to visit temples in Guruvayur with your family

Stay away from this property. If there is an option to give negative feedback, I wouldn't think twice to do that. I booked 3 rooms from the oyo app looking at the photos posted. Here are series of issues I came across. 1. I checked in 4:30pm, but, the rooms weren't ready. Water bottles were not kept and toiletry kit wasn't there. 2. Bath towel wasnt available and when i asked, I was given with 1 towel. I was informed to manage with one for 3 people. 3. There is only staff for everything. Other than local language, he can't manage with any other language. 4. Room is full of mosquitoes. No mosquito net or repellents. 5. The room is so small that it can't accommodate extra bed. But, oyo let's you book for 3 people. 6. I had paid separately for breakfast during booking time itself. Oyo says breakfast is from 8am to 10am. I wanted to checkout at 8:30am after breakfast. But, breakfast was not available till 9:30am. I was delayed due to this. Ultimately I left at 9:30am without having breakfast. Breakfast is bought from a nearby hotel it seems and there was no one to go and pick, reason given to me. Another disappointing thing is, Oyo customer care says wait till 10am and see. 7. Very minium parking space. One can't take out the vehicle if some one else has parked behind you. 8. AC wasn't working in one of the room. I gave a complaint. He casually said it should work. Slept without AC. 9. There is a lift, but it is not working. I had 4 senior citizens with me who had tough time going to 3rd floor.

First of all let me thank the hotel staff of being polite and calm during the stay and i feel sympathetic towards them since i do not think the issues occurred because of them. I would really blame OYO for the poor standard they had maintained to showcase a totally unpleasant, unsecure and fake lodging room as a well maintained AC room. Starting with bathroom, there was a big exhaust fan hole which was left opened. I didn't want an exhaust fan instead i wanted to close that but staff said there is nothing they can do at the moment. I consider this as a security issue considering the location of the room is in the ground floor, anyone can easily insert a camera through it. Moreover hundreds of mosquitoes were fleeting inside through this hole and entered the bedroom whenever we opened the toilet door. That gave us a nightmare despite driving for long hours gifted with sleepless night for us. The bedroom has two windows both of them were not fully covered with curtains. One of the window was only half covered as the air-conditioner was placed at the end of it. During day and night people from outside can easily see you sleeping there with family. That i felt really embarrassing. I had booked room for three guests. The bed for third person was broken and needed replacement. However the staff somehow found a spare one and we were lucky with that at least. The washbasin in the hall was not working. There is no restaurants nearby, staff offered ordering via phone but very less vegetarian options. Another irritating thing was the parking. The parking area photos given in OYO site are fake or misleading. The real situation is if you want park your vehicle you need to wait to others to check out or they had to come down and move their car. We need to wait for other tenants to move our cars in and out. Also it was very difficult to get into parking area since the slabs in the road were positioned higher than road level which left scratches to the underbody of my car. The road to this place is very narrow, i had to drive my car in reverse gear until main road to give side to anothet car. It is better to read Google reviews first rather than OYO reviews. I would request one of OYO management person to visit this place with his family and experience the same themselves. I am requesting for a refund of the worst experience me and family felt, truly unprofessional lodging set up.

We had been to Guruvayur (3 people) for a two day weekend trip. Looking at the pictures on the website, we proceeded to OYO 15825 BLUE BERRY APARTMENTS. We had not booked online and when we asked the caretaker if rooms were available, he replied in the affirmative. Since we were exhausted and wanted to check-in quickly, we agreed to the said rates (Rs.1700/- per night). 1) The rooms are really very small,cramped and smelly, not at all comfortable . 2)There was no hot water supply in the bathroom. 3) The caretaker gave us a very used looking towel. Just 1 towel among three people ! 4) The place is infested with mosquitoes. No dustbin in the room. 5) When we asked for glasses to drink water, he gave just 1 used glass and two stinky 100ml paper cups. 6) When asked for extra bottle of water (It was some not-so-well known local brand ),he demanded money ! Will Oyo not give 2 bottles of water for two nights booking ? 7) The incharge caretaker knows only the local language. No proper communication or knowledge regarding surrounding area. He didn't know any restaurant nearby. 8) Usually , Oyo provides complimentary breakfast. When we asked, he looked at us as if we were demanding something bizzare. Very difficult to park vehicle.Early in the morning,we were rudely woken up and old to remove our car as another guest wanted to park/ take out his car. 9) No bill or invoice was provided. Couldn't get in touch with the owner also. Please try to improve.

They don't provide any quality service in comparison to the price. There are somany detailed negative reviews below. We too had the same bad experience. Some of the five star ratings are cooked and repetition. U can scroll down and see. Sou should stay away from booking this hotel until they provide quality service. They replies with same apology message copied and pasted. They won't do anything but making customers feel that they care for them. They didn't change anything till now with this much negative reviews already posted.
