KRISHNA INN, GURUVAYOOR (Star Hotel)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Krishna Inn, and my experience was largely positive. The hotel offers a good blend of comfort, cleanliness, and convenience, making it a solid choice. Location: The hotel is well-located, with easy access to nearby Guruvayur temple and attractions, restaurants, and transport hubs. Whether you're here for pilgrimage or sightseeing, it's a convenient base to explore the area. Rooms: The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with basic amenities like Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and hot water. The beds were comfortable and the linens clean. Housekeeping was prompt and courteous. Service: The staff at Hotel Krishna Inn were polite and helpful. Check-in and check-out processes were smooth. Food: The in-house restaurant offers a decent variety of South Indian and North Indian dishes. Breakfast was complimentary and served hot. The taste was good, and hygiene standards were maintained. Overall Experience: Overall, Hotel Krishna Inn provides good value for money. It's a budget-friendly stay without compromising on cleanliness and service. During our recent visit to Guruvayoor, my family and I had the pleasure of dining at Krishna Inn, and the experience was exceptional. Despite the late hour--around 10:00 PM--the restaurant served a diverse array of hot and delectable dishes, a rarity when most establishments are winding down for the night. The quality of the food was outstanding, with each dish bursting with authentic flavors that satisfied our palates. The service was equally impressive; the restaurant staff, reception, entrance, and security personnel were all courteous and attentive, ensuring we felt welcomed and well-cared for throughout our visit. The ambiance of Krishna Inn added to the overall dining pleasure, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Given this delightful experience, I highly recommend Krishna Inn to anyone visiting Guruvayoor, whether for a meal or accommodation. We look forward to our next visit!

Stayed here recently while visiting guruvayoor temple. Overall a good place with very nice ambience. Also Helpfull staffs and great service.

Very bad maintenance with bed bugs in the rooms.. the charges are also higher than other properties and the staff doesn't inform additional charges at the point of entry. Even to get a gst bill is a headache. The staff is otherwise courteous but lack in communication.

I had been a regular visitor to this hotel every year when I visit Guruvayur temple. But this time my experience was really bad. Staff were uncourteous, room telephone was not working; not worth the money spent. Though it claims to be three star hotel but it does not look so. Not sure if there was any change in management. I can see the difference in quality and service between last year and this year. I definitely would not visit this hotel again.

I had a very very bad experience and horrible service during our visit to guruvayoor with my 6 month old baby. AC wasnt working and i had raised a complaint twice. No action was taken. Manager was very rude and denied to talk to have a conversation with me. Rooms are poorly managed and quality is pathetic

We had a terrible experience with this place!! ..we have stayed here many a times in the past but this time it broke all my tolerance level ..we had booked a double bedroom and as we entered the room , it was stinking with cigarette smoke !!! The room wasnt cleaned properly and even the Sofa was dirty .,,they showed us another room to exchange and it was even worse ...it had broken floor tiles and the bathroom was not clean ...the reception said that the entire hotel was previously booked by a wedding party and so they couldn't manage to clean properly ...the property has become old and the maintenance is extremely poor ..the staffs were good enough to attend to our concerns but they were helpless !!! Wouldn't be booking this place again for a price of 4600 Rs for a single night !!

Not Recommended - Poor Maintenance and Rude Staff While the restaurant staff were courteous and the food (lunch/dinner) was good, the overall experience was disappointing due to poor maintenance and terrible customer service. The rooms are dull, linens are worn out, and walls/ceilings are discolored with stains. To make matters worse, the air-conditioning in Room 218 didn't work. Despite a technician's attempt to fix it, the issue persisted. We were moved to Room 216, where the AC was even worse. The real frustration came from Mr. Jayraj at the reception. His rude, indifferent attitude was shocking. When we reported the AC issue, his response was, "Which room do you want?"--as if we're supposed to know which rooms have functioning ACs. Such behavior is unacceptable, and he has no place in a customer-facing role. If you're considering staying here, especially during summer, think twice. Poor maintenance and unprofessional staff like Mr. Jayraj make this a regrettable choice.
