Hotel Kanoos Residency

Located very near to the Temple,One of the best places to stay in Guruvayur. The staff are hospitable. The food is tasty. The rooms are cozy. Room staff service is really good. Just a phone call and they attend our errands in No time.Bathrooms are maintained neat and clean. Can book a room here without any doubt in mind.

Nice hotel. Clean rooms, courteous staff and prompt service, decent food. Full stars! It is about a 100 meters beyond Manjulal when you come from the temple entrance, so you may need to walk a couple of hundred meters more to get to the temple than if you were staying in one of the hotels close by -- but then that is a trade-off you make to get all the good points mentioned above :) And they send you a pick-up vehicle from the railway station.

Nice Hotel , i been there once. it was nice experience and good staff support. rooms are clean only the TV need to be update they are still using the old type TV, other than everything is best, money worth. and lift available from parking to room area which is good and baggage can lift directly from the ground parking. surely i will be back to Kanoos.

Really hated it. I felt so ashamed to live in this room. Please guys for god's sake dont go here. The room was good. It was the only thing that worth the money. The bathroom was neat and tidy. The TV and wifi is not working too. The food was bad.First they said they have biriyaani. Then they said they have Pulao and fried rice. After 5 minutes he said they only had meals. We had our dinner from other hotel because of this. Power supply is very poor. The photo i uploaded on this review is the photo of the TV which is not working. When i was booking the room, i taught it was going to be a great trip. The i wondered why the hell my parents book this hotel.

After reading the reviews here, I had booked a superior room in Kanoos residency through make my trip for three people. However my stay here was disappointing. The hotel is understaffed and the response time is very slow. As soon as I checked in, I found the safety locker they provided in the room was already locked and was unable to open it. Called reception twice to fix it, no one turned up. Expected a queen or king size bed in the room, but had 2 separate single beds. We were also not provided an extra bed considering there were 3 of us. There was no ceiling fan in the room and only a central AC that takes time to cool - this was uncomfortable considering the hot weather in Guruvayur throughout the year. The lighting is also dim and found few of the bulbs were not getting lit. The rooms as such require a bit of makeover. We decided to have dinner at the hotel and were made to wait around 30 mins for the food to arrive after placing the order. Though the manager informed us about the delay before we placed the order, a hotel that claims itself to be a 3 star should not take so much time - food quality was also average. Overall, disappointed but just about okay for one nights' stay. Cannot definitely call itself a 3 star hotel - it's more of a 2star hotel. For the price you pay, you can stay at Mayura Residency.

Photogenic interior (Islam influenced paintings). Has many amenities listed but most of them do not work. During our stay, I could not connect to wi-fi. The TV did not work. The refrigerator did not work. No hot water (got it fixed after several requests). They have two restaurants, Veg and non-veg. Food was ok. Service and the folks were super nice. All the staff were courteous etc. 5 star for the staff.

Ambience is good. Very small parking lot and too congested getting in and getting out. AC in rooms is not up to the mark. Complementary breakfast is good. Rooms are good but room service needs improvement in promptness. Service in general needs improvement.

it is just great .they prrobably have the friendliest staff compared to all other hotels all over india. we(our family) had arrived late to kanoos as we had to travel from thekkedy to guruvayoor ( a long 9 hour drive if u don't konw the area properly) . we had to have dinner and the dinner timings were only till 10:30pm we arrived at 11:00pm , they had closed their kitchens by then. when they saw us coming they reopened their kitchen and served us with wonderful food.
