Hotel Brahmaputhra , East Nada | Next to Guruvayoor Temple

Booked a non A/C room for one day (solely used for refreshing as we arrived at 7 am in the morning) and then shifted to A/C the next day. Booking was done over call, the response was quick and got the receipt immediately. The rooms were small, but tidy and smelled good. Saw few cockroaches emerging from the bathroom. They serve hot beverages like tea/coffee to the room. Parking lot had space for 5 cars. There are good vegetarian restaurants in walkable distance from the hotel. Lift, kettle & hot water availability 24x7 are some highlights. Overall had a good experience with my stay at Brahmaputra.

Terrible Experience - Unhygienic and Infested I booked 2 rooms for 24th April in this hotel based on my sister's positive experience from 3-4 years ago, and because it's conveniently located within walking distance to East Nada. Coincidentally, we were even given the same rooms my sister and parents had stayed in earlier. Unfortunately, this stay was a nightmare. As soon as we entered the room, there was a persistent unpleasant smell. Things got worse when we saw the washroom was crawling with cockroaches. I immediately informed the reception, and someone came with insect spray, but the cockroaches kept running around. To make matters worse, the cockroaches weren't just in the washroom -- they were running around the bedside table and everywhere in the room. It was absolutely disgusting. My wife and daughter were scared and couldn't sleep the entire night. The entire hotel was smelly and poorly maintained, and the management didn't seem to care at all. This place felt completely unhygienic and infested. Definitely not what we expected based on past experience. I would not recommend now to anyone

Stayed for a night here. Booked 3 Non-AC standard rooms and our experience was not bad. The hotel looked fancy from the outside, from the inside it was just like any other mid range hotel. Inside the room there was a water bottle, a kettle and two coffee mugs but no tea/coffee sachets. There were mosquitoes flying in although they had an All Out mosquito killer plugged in. One another drawback was the covering sheet was just too small to be able to fit two persons.

Leaky AC in room, fourth floor party hall also leaked. The staff are very very rude and impolite. Literally they quarreled with us, not just one i face 3 staff with the same behaviour. The reception guy was helpful he supported with minimal needs.

We recently visited this place to attend my cousins marriage. The location was bit congested as it was near to the Guruvayoor temple so car getting to the hotel was bit tricky. The hotel's car parking is really tight as there is not places for many cars. The rooms were bit small considering the price. The bathroom were neat and tidy. The marriage hall was also not too big so it was not suitable for such marriage function. Also their mess hall also small. So overall it's a good hotel.

I had the misfortune of staying in Hotel Brahmaputhra at Guruvayoor last week for three days starting 24Oct24. Parking is available and rooms are okay but the biggest pain point was their room service and rude behavior of the hotel staff. If you are staying in a deluxe room they will only provide restricted tea bags , coffee sachets and sugar sachets (only two sachets each). If you ask for few more be ready to be snapped at by the room service person. They will be very rude. Since we were 5 persons they booked us in two deluxe rooms and told us that three persons can stay in one deluxe room with extra bed. The normal deluxe room only accommodates two persons in the bed and the room has hardly any space for an extra bed on the floor. We decided to adjust to it as our intent was to visit and spend more time at the Guruvayoor temple premises. We had to keep asking them (or should I say beg) for extra towel, soap and tea bags for three of the occupants repeatedly and the room service/housekeeping initially refused to provide us extra towel stating it only provides two towels per deluxe AC room as per hotel rules. If you want to feel unwelcome and curse yourself for staying in such a hotel, do it at your own risk. I checked and found later that there are better hotels at Guruvayoor for your convenient stay. They do not have restaurant or food supplied to the occupants, you need to go outside for any meals/breakfast. The only benefit is it is close to East entrance of the Guruvayoor temple complex.

Since its a very small visit the hotel especially with its Great location is a no Brainerd, the staff and the ambience in the hotel lobby is also good. The AC rooms are ok with good cooling & is neat. However the Non Ac Rooms are really very very tiny and I won't recommend it anyone except some solo people for jus getting fresh. The location is really good and can park some 4-5 vehicles which is an added advantage
