The host arranged excellent hospitality. As mentioned in the description, the Temple is only a walkable distance - approx - 6mints (600m). Auto service is available if required; the host will arrange it upon request. The surroundings are tranquil and are near the area. The house itself is well-placed, and good housekeeping is maintained. Good parking space present. The supermarket is within 50 meters. All required shops are available in 70m. The price is reasonable. Kids have spacious spaces to play in the house. All are available for the family's needs, making the stay pleasant. Finally, the host is always present to fulfil the guest's needs. I recommend this to devotees coming to lord Krishna for a comfortable stay. Thank you, Sir, for your hospitality, Hare Krishna!

From where do I start! The rooms and amenities are good, but I would like to highlight the top class hospitality portrayed by the owners. From the moment we reached , they treated us with kindess. Some of us fell sick during our stay at Guruvayoor. Mr Prahlad made it a point to arrange for an auto and even booked an appointment with his family Dr, though he was out of town. He was constantly checking on us as well. It felt a lot like a home. I will surely come back here during our next visit to Guruvayoor.

A Home Away from Home - Perfect Stay Near Guruvayoor Temple We had a wonderful stay at Chitralayam, South Nada, during our visit to Guruvayoor Temple. The property is just a short walk from the temple, which was very convenient for our family. The accommodation was neat, comfortable, and felt just like home. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. The apartment had two spacious bedrooms with attached bathrooms, a cozy hall, a well-equipped kitchen, and a lovely sitout. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials, including LPG, stove, fridge, oven, cutlery, and even milk, which was a welcome surprise (as hotels usually only provide milk powder). It was perfect for preparing meals for our toddler, which made our stay much more comfortable than being in a hotel room. The presence of enough coffee powder, tea dust, sugar, and other essentials made it feel even more homely. We highly recommend Chitralayam, especially if you are traveling with family, elders, or toddlers. The peaceful atmosphere and thoughtful amenities truly made this a memorable stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Chitralayam Homestay in Guruvayur. The property was well-maintained, offering a comfortable and hygienic environment. It featured 2 spacious bedrooms, a cozy hall, a fully equipped kitchen, and a pleasant dining area. Everything was kept exceptionally clean, making our stay very comfortable. The homestay was reasonably priced and the host was always there to help us. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Guruvayur!!

Our stay at Chitralayam home stay a pleasant experience.When arrive late evening also all guidance we got from Mr Prahlad . Early morning darshan at Sri Krishna temple is so nice as it is walkable distance. Family stay with our relatives with all the amenities is really enjoyable.Thanks for all the support from . Getting a clean hotel/airbnb in Guruvayur is a super tedious task unless you want to pay a premium. We looked at multiple hotel options & then came across this place. I must say - I was super happy stepping into the place. Everything was neat and clean and thought through. Both the bedrooms are spacious with a cot and a good quality foldable bed (kudos to that). The place definitely is slightly more far to the temple (~750 meters) when compared to other places we have stayed before. But trust me - the extra 350meters is worth the walk because you come into a proper residential area - away from all the buzz. The kitchen had everything you need from an AirBnb. Fun fact - you will never run out of plug points here. We didn't cook much here but if you are upto it - I think there is everything you need in the kitchen. The washrooms are also clean and decently spacious. There's a very nice & cute pooja unit with a Krishna idol that adds to the serenity of the place. Loved the place!
