Calm place to stay with affordable price. Beach is also near by and bike and car rental options available by petit anna . Kerala meals and local food options available inside tamarind villa which is close to 100m.

Totally recommend this place the location is near a serene beach visible from the property , rooms were neat clean with all the promised amenities. And the best part was the host Mr. Anandu Santhosh , he is by far the warmest and sweetest host I have ever come across , we were on all girls trip and thanks to him it was safe and very well facilitated.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, which was conveniently located just a few minutes away from the beach. The room was clean and cozy, providing a comfortable atmosphere. Sudheesh, the host, was exceptionally kind and helpful throughout my stay. He arranged for me to participate in a yoga session at a nearby homestay, which I highly recommend trying. Just need to take care about trees and grass more to make garden more green and beautiful!

Except Anandu (the only staff present here) nothing is good. No mineral water, no television, no intercom to contact the staff, no shampoo, no soap, no restaurant. Only one charging point. To be noted that that this retreat has only 4 rooms. It looks like haunted house with no people around. It is so secluded that I had to worry about safety. No restaurant in the hotel or nearby (walking distance). Location-wise it is close to Odayam beach but Odayam beach is deserted.. you will feel like going to Varakala beach which is not near and there is no connectivity. Partial sea view is such that.. you have to bend yourself at specific angle to see the sea. Original view in front of room is of an abandoned old damaged house.

The property is beautiful, all the basic requirements are available and the beach is just 150 ms and also the cliff is at a walkable distance with beautiful path full of shops and restaurants on one side and the see on the other..!!! The Host Fagaraj was very kind and generous person. Absolutely loved the experiencez

Near to Odayam beach, it's a nice place to stay. Don't expect much but good enough for a one day stay at reasonable prices. Beach is at a walkable distance and interestingly we found some good stays nearby Odayam beach. Service was also good.

Hi to all the fellow travelers. I and my wife were at Varkala for 4 days (March 26th- March 30th) and stayed here at Petit Ana. Initially when we checked in, the place did not appeal as much we imagined and had second thoughts of moving out and even explored options outside as well. The host Anandu was very considerate in offering options at their neighbouring property or another room. We opted for another room in the same property which turned out to be great. As we believe in spending minimum on stay and rather exploring the place and local cuisines, we decided to continue for the price we had paid. At the end of the trip, the place did feel like home with its own private backyard and privacy. Anandu was our go to person for renting a bike, local place suggestions, asking for an extra bucket at the middle of the night and eventually helping us find a reasonable priced cab ride back to Trivandrum. We were very pleased with his hospitality and responsiveness to our requests. Well, I can certainly say that a place can add only so much to the experience whereas service makes all the difference. I would certainly recommend for the budget travellers looking for a value for money place.
