We went to chotanikere Temple with family and booked 2 room in woodlands hotel. Worst experience we had here in hotel. They charged Rupees 700 for a non AC room . The room was in such a pathetic condition that it was full of dust , leakage of Taps, TV was also not in working condition, no hot water facility, torn bedsheet was put on the bed that too faded bedsheet, not blankets. Night there are too many cockroaches & mosquitos at the room. When we went and asked the manager & staff to clean the room they bought and gave us the broom & mop to clean the room. The manager should understand that we are not his workers to clean his rooms. staff & Manager they only sit in front desk to sit and chat with their co workers. Then only good thing about this hotel is its near and very opposite to chotanikere Temple. Please i recommend anybody with family to not a good room to stay here.

I stayed here along with my family for 2 nights. I visited Chottanikara for an interview in a local bank and also wanted to take his opportunity to visit Chottanikara temple. I had booked my room 2 days in advance by directly calling the hotel. I stayed in the ground floor AC room. The room and more importantly the toilet was neat and clean. I checked in late in the evening by 9PM. The staff was friendly and cooperative. Didn't face any issues. Nice place for short stay.
I stayed here with my family for 2 nights from 1st feb to 3rd feb 2020. We checked-in early morning and took a double room on the 2nd floor. Room was clean and tidy. The main purpose of our stay was to visit the temple. This property is located very close to the temple and we found that very convenient. Staff was friendly.
I took a AC room for 2 nights. I was there with my family to visit Chottanikkara temple. The hotel is very close to temple which really helped us. The room was clean and spacious.Parking was free of charge. Staff were friendly. In all I liked this property.
This Hotel is very near to Sri Bhagavathi Amman temple at Chotanikara. This is my second visit to the temple. Last time I stayed in Hotel at Ernakulam and came here by Taxi. That was inconvenient to return back after attending kuruthi pooja which will end after 10 PM|| So this time I tried this small budget hotel. The rent is reasonable. This is the first time I faced with the problem of not getting any towel or soap. But the Manager Mr. John is very friendly and provided me a small towel. There is no intercom or phone to call the reception. I used my cell phone to call them. There is no lift. The post office is functioning in the Hotel. The only plus point is walkable distance from the temple.
I visited this place along with my family on March 29 for 2 days. I stayed for 2 days. I must say I had a pleasant experience. I took a 3 bed AC room and the room was clean and neat. Service was good. I liked the secured gated parking.
