Golden Munnar Palace By Hawk Hospitality

Review: I stayed at Munnar Palace Resort for two days, and I'd like to share a disappointing experience I had during my stay. I was accompanied by my driver, and unfortunately, the resort does not provide any proper facilities or even basic accommodation for drivers. There is no designated driver's room, and the situation was quite unpleasant. When I went to find a restroom, I had to walk through a path that was extremely unhygienic -- garbage was dumped along the way, and I had to descend several steps with waste scattered around. It was not only unpleasant but also unsafe. A security staff member initially informed me that food was available for drivers and that the lift could be used to access it. But later, when my driver asked, he was denied entry completely. The same security person even denied having said that the lift could be used. The route they directed us through was filled with waste and had an open septic tank -- something I witnessed firsthand. Overall, the way drivers are treated here is poor and disappointing. For a resort that receives guests traveling with drivers, I expected at least basic dignity and facilities for them. I hope the management takes serious steps to improve this. I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is convenient, right on the main road, making it easy to get around. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable -- definitely a highlight of the stay. However, the room service was disappointing. It took them 30 minutes and three follow-up calls just to deliver a simple cup of tea. That said, aside from the slow service, everything else was great. With a little improvement in responsiveness, this place could be excellent.

I had a wonderful stay at Golden Munnar Palace by Hawk Hospitality! The hotel is beautifully maintained, with clean rooms, great views, and a peaceful atmosphere. What made the experience truly special was the excellent service. A big thank you to Mr.Praveen, the front office manager, who was extremely helpful and professional throughout our stay. He made sure we were comfortable and guided us with local tips and information. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Munnar!

We stayed 2 nights in duplex room from where the view was amazing and the room was neat and clean,overall staff was so friendly. And also the food and beverage in the restaurant was excellent Mr. Manikandan restaurant manager was very actively doing is duty who was arranging the things very promptly. Even the watchman Mr. Mani was so active. Overall our experience was memorable.

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent stay at Golden palace Munnar, a Hawk Properties hotel. Despite being a regular visitor of Hawk Properties, the service fell short of expectations. We had to make multiple calls and requests for basic amenities like heaters and towels. It was only after repeated requests that we received a response from the team. What was even more surprising was the lack of assistance when we arrived at the hotel. No one offered to help us with our luggage, which is a basic courtesy one expects from a hotel, especially when paying a premium price. To top it all, even simple requests like asking for a towel took an inordinate amount of time, with the item arriving only the next day. Overall, the experience was underwhelming, and I would caution others to temper their expectations. "Considering the hefty price tag of over Rs 12000 for a single night, I expected a far superior level of customer service. Unfortunately, the experience fell woefully short. Given the subpar service and lack of attention to detail, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The high price point demands a corresponding level of quality and service, which was sadly missing

I had a wonderful experience at Golden Munnar Hotel. The location is perfect, offering breathtaking views of the lush green hills of Munnar. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The staff was courteous and always ready to assist, making our stay even more pleasant. The food at the in-house restaurant was delicious, with a good mix of local and continental options, everything was perfect. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Munnar!

The hotel was very good and their response is very fast and good maintenance of rooms and house keeping they keeps very good.children play area and swimming pool are well maintained by management and neat.the gym also a good place having various equipment and swimming pool is large and clean water.and restaurant food was ok and good to eat the buffet was very nice.but they want try some new foods for morning( not same).so their overall maintenance and clean surroundings and nice views of forest from balcony So, thank you for giving a best experience for us golden munnar palace by hawk hospitality.
