Plumeria Lake Resort & Spa by The Zaahrah Hotels & Resorts,

PERMANENTLY CLOSED We booked here for 2 nights recently during December 24 from Hotels.com. We travelled with a family of elderly and teenagers from abroad. We landed and took our cab to reach this place. After being on the road for around 4 hours, we reached here and to our disappointment, the place was closed down . We were informed that the lease has expired and not reviewed. It was very frustrating as they were listing and selling rooms online on sites like Hotels.com and booking.com despite being closed down for over 4/5 months. We had to face lot of challanges to locate Nother good property in peak tourist season. DON'T BOOK IT AS ITS CLOSED AND LISTINGS ARE JUST TO Fleece YOUR MONEY

Location & ambience: very beautiful service & food- excellent- staff very passionate rooms- very old set up. overall no maintenance at all. we feel that shortage of cleanliness and maintenance from the reception itself. all show pieces with dust and spider webs. if this property is maintained well, then its a beautiful, peaceful property. hope the management would take care of this. so that lot more corporates also come & stay there.

I'm too late to review this property. I visited Plumeria during my honeymoon in November 2022. I fogot to write a review for this property but the inner me was dying to write something good so today I'm gonna drop it here. |First of all, I and my wife were welcomed in very traditional manner. We were happy to see the hospitality of the staff. Plumeria is an amazing property and room was pretty clean and met our expectations. Staff was very good here and food was amazing. |I would like to call a name MEENU from the reception area. She was damn helpful and a pretty amazing girl. She was expert in her work. She insisted us to attend the cultural program held inside the plumeria itself. She showed us the beautiful temple insdie Plumeria and also the 100 years old heritage house which is also inside the property. Meenu was so talented and kind hearted person that she even did our traditional soyth Indian photoshoot inside the heritage house and all around the temple. Meenu if you are reading this please accept our apology for writing this review after so many months.||Below are some Pros of Plumeria-|. Amazing site view inside the property |. One of best hotels/resorts I have been to which is cost efficient compared to other top hotels/resorts. The hotel gives a feeling of culture of Kerala in the lobby. The rooms are spacious with amazing balcony. We got a room directly facing the Lake which gave us amazing view in the morning and evening. The food severed was fresh. They also provided some options beyond the menu they had. The cook was ok to adapt to changes we asked in our food. It was amazing experience both for dinner and breakfast. They had a massive swimming pool and fun activities area. Along with they had well maintained Pool table adjoining to the swimming pool. The property was massive. While this location is bit far from main Alleppey centre, but worth going there. I would any day prefer this place above House boat which will be of equal cost with hardly any amenities. The staff was amazing who always were they to guide. Overall a great experience and would surely visit this place again.

Location is good as it's at the end of lake, rooms are quite big and service is top notch in terms if customer not expecting anything. Ac is not working properly, no hot water no laundry. We can stay multiple times in a homestay where we get efficient service as this property is lacking man power

Excellent resort at a reasonable cost. The staff were extremely kind and ensured best of hospitality. Chef were really good in serving authentic Kerala cuisine. Had a great stay. Gorgeous sunset by the back water. Lot of beautiful views around the property. Highly recommend this property.

Location is remote @50 mins from Alleppy , property is well maintained. Calm and serene . Room service closes @9 PM, Breakfast spread is limited . 2nd day of our stay there was no buffet as guests being less. Good for couples and family who want to spend time in nature , Not suitable if you want to be near Alleppy

What a lovely place and the hospitality by Mr. Abhilash & team. Thank you for all the accommodation arrangements made for us and the South Indian food we enjoyed. Shan & Jobin were very sweet to accommodate all our requirements. Veena & the housekeeping girl helped us with everything... The location is superb however the rooms need some kind of revamp.. The pool, boating and fishing were an amazing experience for us... Kudos to everyone who made our two night stay very special & memorable... Good luck see you guys next time...
