Royal Plaza Residency

The hotel was one of the worst I've stayed at. The washrooms were unhygienic, and there was no one at the reception. I would never recommend anyone to stay here. The hotel had terrible washrooms, entrance, and corridor. I paid 5k for two rooms for one day and got a very bad hotel. It would have been better to stay at a local lodge booked through MakeMyTrip.

The facilities were not particularly excellent, yet they boast about them. The bedroom was fine. The bathrooms were filthy, and hygiene was lacking.

Absolutely atrocious, bathroom was not cleaned at all. No hot water available as it is only available to those who book king suites.. Never heard of a hotel which doesn't provide hot water to normal customers? The aircons were not working and when we questioned reception they quickly turned on a switch on the main board to get it working.. which means they purposely turned it off to save electricity. Will never book here again and I hope everyone does the same

Toilets in the rooms not at all hygienic, I wonder how this Government's have given permission/license to operate.

Room is okay. But bathroom is well below average. It smells bad + lots of dirt. For a 1000 Rs per night room this is not OK. Guys, be very careful while ordering food. The food is ordered by this hotel from an outside restaurant and I cannot blame Royal Plaza. I found a small steel piece in my food. Was enough to land me in Hospital. Please note that the most of the restaurants and shops close much early. And if you are traveling on Sundays, you will not find any bus after 7.45 to Cherpulassery from Pattambi.

Rooms are well maintained and clean. The service was little slow, it may be due to less staff due to lockdown. The available staff was very polite and helpful. There is no inhouse hotel but will get food delivered to you. Overall good experience.

I had a very good experience with my stay at this property. Initially I booked through OYO, but once I reached the property, the owner informed me that they have stopped doing partnership with OYO due to certain issues, but he did not deny the check in. Since I did not do the payment online, I paid the owner the amount. The room that I got was totally worth the price. Very spacious and luxurious room with excellent room service. To all those people looking for hotels in palakkad-Kozhikode road, I would highly recommend you to book and stay in this property.
