Hotel Raj International

Running only because of the attached bar. As soon as you enter the hotel, only the aroma of bar is very prominently felt. Rooms need maintenance. Not at all hygienic. Location is good. Parking is good. Can get chaotic while the bar is open. Better to avoid for families.

Waiter not even giving the items we told him to serve..we waited 1 hr for a beer and we left...They are just working for tip no for constumers..very bad costumer service dont ever go to this bar

Utter horrible place to be. There is no room service, toilets smell like garbage pool, no proper bed (just a sponge with a blanket on it)!!! I can't even believe how they survive. The hotel has its main business from the beer/wine parlor and so they don't know anything about guest relations or check-in formalities, its better that families avoid staying here. They only know to serve drunkards and they behave like goons with attitude, its not at all a place for good decent families. The lady at the reception was full of attitude and ignorant about customer dealing. It took around 45 minutes for check-in to rooms which were pre-booked!! The receptionist told us with quite a disgrace that there will be no room service and restaurant closes by 9:30 so eat before that or go out.!! At night we guys thought of having food from the restaurant and will parcel food for elder lady family member at room, as the restaurant and reception area were crowded with drunkards. But when asked about that the staff told they wont give any plates or glasses to rooms and also it will be troublesome for them to clean the room if we have food in room!! I have been to too many places and stayed at many hotels but this was the first time I had such a worst experience. This is after we had booked 5 rooms in the hotel and giving a good business for them!! The intercom does not work in any of the rooms, they don't even give water in rooms. For anything we have to go outside the hotel, and they have only one helper staff in all department,in restaurant, beer parlor, rooms. There is nothing positive about this hotel except that it is just opposite to the bus stand. I would not have given any rating if it was possible. At restaurant they don't have ice-cream or any juices in the menu, they said if we can wait 10-15 minutes they can arrange lemon juice, most probably they will buy it from some pan shop nearby and serve it. I'm still having digestive problems after having food from there. I wish I had not stayed there and kindly suggest and warn everyone to stay out of here.

Seems to be an above average hotel in Chengannur town center. Couldn't see this listed in online apps though and in some apps the prices shown were almost double the actual price. Have booked AC room @ 1500 for staying with wife and two kids. We booked by directly calling them. Hotel is bit old and needs better maintenance. Room was very spacious for the price paid. There is restaurant present. Seems they are not much bothered on maintenance of rooms and since there is one bar running well there. Staff behavior is fine. Hotel is just opposite to KSRTC bus station so accessible easily for all sort of travellers

Very Well connected. Walkable distance from railway station and the bus stop. Spacious rooms, average beds, has bit of mosquito problem, doesn't provide drinking water. Has a bar and restaurant downstairs the food is over priced and tastes bad. Only breakfast available are Chapati and Parata(with curry to be ordered separately). I've read online reviews saying the staff are bit rude and unprofessional (not all of them though) and that's True. Can manage for a day's trip.

Pathetic stay . Rooms are not maintained properly. Ants, termites, insects all over in the room. Even after complaining, the hotel staff didn't take any action. Even the water tanker isn't cleaned I guess. This is evident from dirty water from the tap in the washroom. Even the TV doesn't work. Staff is very rude and they didn't even provide basic things like a water bottle in the room. Pathetic stay at this hotel

I checked in at 5.30 AM for a day stay. It do not have facilities as it advertise in their website. No intercom, No wi-fi and no Woking TV. Toilet seats are quite old and have stains. For room service you need to go to the reception!!! Finally the guy at reception gave his mobile number for room service. Offered a room change which was worse than the earlier one. The positive things Very corteous service persons. Had a good breakfast fast which was tasty. But the table clothes were not cleaned properly. I don't recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay
