Ethereal Residency

Imagine you land up in Chengannur in the morning (after a night's travel) and soon you want to be on your pilgrimage to Sabarimala. All you need is a place to freshen up, have a decent bath and then, you are done. Ethereal Residency is indeed real in providing this service. There is a good veg hotel nearby for breakfast. What more do you need, when you are on a spiritual mission?

Very bad customer service. I recently called the number listed online to enquire about room availability, but unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The person who answered the call at the reception was extremely arrogant and lacked basic customer service etiquette. Their rude and unfriendly behavior made the entire interaction unpleasant. I expected a more professional approach, especially from front desk staff who are the first point of contact. This kind of attitude leaves a very poor impression on potential guests

Situated in the heart of the town. Very close to railway station and private bus stand. Walking distance to ksrtc stand. Many good hotels serving vegetarian food. The rooms are very small. No toiletries provided. No tv. No bedsheets also provided. It can be used as a transit accommodation only.

The hotel is located at just 100mts from the railway station. The rooms are clean and affordable. I would have liked a bit more from the service part but it wasn't bad too. The Mahadevar temple is about 1km from this place. The private busstand and transport bustands are also at walkable distance.

Location is everything! Just across from the Railways station. Hotel features dozens of rooms across two floors with all the basic amenities. The executive room was very spacious with 2 double beds, and a sofa. Price isn't a lot, but feels excessive for this hotel. Cleanliness and maintenance needs improvement: many stains of sheets and towels. I would recommend this hotel for a very short stay if you need to stay close to the railways station or going to sabarimala!

Stay at Ethereal Residency was pleasant. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and while the amenities were basic, they met my needs adequately. The room, although simple, was clean and comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep. The location was convenient as it's very near to railway station, and the affordability made it a great value for budget-conscious travelers.

Had stayed with family briefly for 6 days and felt like home. All the staff at Ethereal residency were very cordial and supportive and Mr. Jeffin (manager) ensured that our stay was pleasant and comfortable. Rooms are nice. There are good hotels and shops adjacent for food, tea and coffee. Railway station is opposite to this hotel. Would prefer staying again if visiting Chengannur. 5 stars from me.

Its a lodge with aircon.. Substandard , small rooms, tight parking space Good location
