Emperor-Hotel Rachana Continentel (03 star hotel)

Used to come here for having drinks. Today ordered 2.5 pegs DSP whiskey and bearer came with DSP brandy. On sipping the first peg I told him I don't consume brandy. Then he apologised and told me he would return the 1.5 pegs.. But for the peg I sipped, he begged to consume it. Although its not a good idea to mix drinks, understanding his situation I consumed it. But the quality of the liquor he brought afterwards was really pathetic. It was nothing but arrack with flavour. And the beef dry fry he brought was hard to bite. They charged whopping 270 rupees for the same. So, I had to drink brandy and arrack and then pay 660 rupees. This is the last time I am coming there.

In Room A/C was not cooling The bath room was too dirty smells No Breakfast

The hotel doesnt allow visitors with special kids, they will force you to leave if your child screams/yells. The day manager we got on June 20th 2024 complained about our special child making noises. Note: Not a single customer complained, there were hardly any in the first place. We met with the owner and told the story, but my guess is there wont be any improvements anytime soon.

One of the best hotels in chalakkudy. Staffs are so friendly. Rooms are neat and well maintained. Easy accessible to public transportation. Have a garden restaurant that serves liquor too. Best place to hang out.

This is a Live Review as i am sitting in the garden resto. No menu to provide.... Absolutely waste...... No proper service in the Garden Bar / Restaurant. Service personnel approaching like customer came to his house to beg something...... Service needs to be trained keeping their attitude outside the property..... My recent visit to The Emperor Hotel Ranchana was an unfortunate and extremely disappointing experience. The service was remarkably poor and it deeply saddened me to endure such an unpleasant encounter during what was supposed to be a relaxed hangout with my husband and friends. Upon arrival, we were met with indifference by the staff that appeared disinterested in providing quality service. It was disheartening to feel unwelcome and ignored as we tried to engage with them. To our utmost shock and disbelief, things took a turn for the worse when an altercation occurred between us and the staff members. We were subjected to physical assault, which left us feeling violated and deeply distressed. Such actions are completely unacceptable and have no place in any establishment. It is disheartening to recount such an experience, especially when one expects a pleasant ambiance and welcoming atmosphere. At no point did we display any aggressive behavior or provoke any such response. We were there to enjoy ourselves in the company of our friends, merely seeking a relaxing evening. The physical assault we experienced tarnished what could have been a potentially enjoyable experience. These events have left an indelible mark on our memories, and it is highly unlikely that we will ever consider visiting The Hot We Stay again. This review serves as a cautionary tale to others who are considering patronizing this establishment. The lack of professionalism, poor service, and resorting to physical violence are unacceptable behaviors that no customer should ever have to endure. It is my sincere hope that the management takes immediate action to rectify this situation and prevent a recurrence in the future. In conclusion, I strongly recommend seeking alternative venues for a pleasant dining experience and safe environment. The Hot We Stay, unfortunately, failed to deliver on multiple fronts, making it a regrettable choice for anyone seeking a pleasant night out.

The hotel manager and staff exhibited unprofessional conduct throughout my stay, making the experience unpleasant. They were dismissive, rude, and unhelpful. Such behavior tarnished the otherwise promising aspects of the hotel. I cannot recommend this establishment due to the consistently poor service.

Rooms are not worth the price. Restrooms definitely require maintenance. Lack of good rooms was compensated by good staff behaviour. Staff cooperation and response was really great. Location wise, the property is easy to find, though, its a bit noisy at times. 4 stars only because of the good staff cooperation.
