The stay was very comfortable. The Villas were spacious and extremely neat. The plunge pool and courtyard we very well maintained. The staff on arrival especially Sreelaxmi was very courteous and explained us about the activities at the resort. She helped us plan our excursions etc. The staff at the restaurant were very polite special thanks to Amir from Backwater Cafe who always gave us top notch service at the restaurant and ensured that our meals were well catered to. |Amazing experience and Thank You.

The hospitality at Taj Bekal was impeccable. I went there for a corporate offsite and the service at every stage was simply fabulous. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the food is superb and the spa services are like no other place. The GM of the hotel is one of the most humble and helpful person I have ever known. He ensured our entire group was comfortable and happy. The property is very well kept and feels like a piece of heaven.

This resort is about 40 miles South of Mangalore and will be an easy drive from the airport when the highway they are building is completed. In the meantime, expect to spend well over an hour getting back and forth. The hotel supplies good cars and drivers.||The resort itself is splendid. We had one of the rooms with a splash pool. I say room, but it felt more like a private villa. 8 foot walls gave us perfect privacy which is good because it has an outdoor shower and bathtub. (There is an indoor shower as well.) A large swinging bed was perfect for lounging about and reading. The splash pool was deeper than the main pool and a good 15 feet long, so more than a mere splash. ||The facilities have everything you could ask for. A giant swimming pool, a separately housed gym with a trainer on site, a restaurant with a wide selection of different dishes and of course the breakfast buffet. You are right on the ocean. The beach is sanding but the waves can make swimming a challenge. We enjoyed a night time back river raft ride. There are a number of activities offered, including a guided bird watching tour which was fantastic.||We want to acknowledge Sourav from the restaurant. Unfortunately we did not get other names, but service all around was top notch.

We stayed at Taj Bekal for just a day, but what a day it was. From the serene and huge property to the indulgent spa and delicious food, every bit of our time there felt special. A big shoutout to Srilakshmi from the team for going out of her way to fulfil a special request. We felt genuinely cared for. The entire staff was warm, attentive, and made our stay seamless. We wanted a small disconnect from the world and relaxing time. And Taj Bekal, you gave it to us..

One of the most beautiful stay I had!! In between nature.. I was been upgraded by Mr. Jason, due to some discomfort, but after that I got the best service!! |Food was very yummy and chef were very friendly too!! Whole staff was extremely sweet and helpful!!||Couldn't ask for more!! I left a piece for my heart in Bekal!! From the most amazing room to beautiful sunset!!
