Shrigo Resorts and Spa

The location is the only good thing about this place. The property and rooms definitely requires much more maintenence. No proper landscaping, looks like wilderness. Rooms not worth for the price they charge. No restaurant on the premises is another drawback.

For Bekkal Fort visit no other Hotel or resort can beat the proximity advantage that Shrigo Resort has-it's just outside the Fort entrance. A restaurant and little bit of maintenance can improve the charm of this resort.

Deserves higher rating as the only drawback is lack of restaurant at the hotel but there are plenty of taxis to get you somewhere for food. The rooms are really nice and the location is great, no complaints at all

While Shrigo Resort and Spa's proximity to Bekal Fort is a major plus, my stay was overall average. Due to the off-season, food wasn't served on the property, which was a bit inconvenient. The resort could definitely benefit from improved services and maintenance. It feels like the property could use a renovation to bring it up to a more standard level. If you're looking for a budget-friendly option near Bekal Fort, Shrigo might be suitable. However, if you prioritize food services and a more polished experience, you might want to explore other options.

I would hardly call this a resort. It may have been in its day but really the rooms are pretty run down, mouldy, hole in the floor, door rotting, and no eye for detail where cleaning is concerned. Even the underside of the wc lid was not clean and why are the light switches or door handles never cleaned in hotels? I'm sure with such a humid climate the maintenance must be high and certainly the room we occupied is in need. For us it served its one night stay. It is conveniently located to the fort and temple plus some good eating options out on the main road. There is NO wifi. There were loads of mosquitoes in the room. Paying with foreign creditcard not possible. The staff were very friendly.

Pros The location - it is just beside the Bekal Fort gate. - very near to main road. - located in lush green environment.( You can see big peacocks roaming near your rooms) - very courteous, responsive and friendly staff. - They can give access to the private beach ( I advise not to go, it is very beautiful at the same time very dangerous with high tides with unpredictable patterns of high tides). - Just a few hundred metres from Bekal beach park. Cons - Food they can arrange from nearby restaurants, you need to pay. ( If you own a vehicle food is not a problem, many restaurants). - Mosquitoes !!!! Probably during the rainy season ( They won't allow you to enjoy the lush green environment of the resort). It is not the problem of management, it is the thick vegetation, and it is natural.

Location is superb- bang next to the fort. No sea view despite advertisement. Rooms were smelling dusty.Over priced. Had to ask for toiletries. No restaurant service. Staff were good and friendly.

Im foreigner from indonesia, i stay here for 1 night but end up for 3 nights, i can see and meet peacocks so close. The scurity guard they are so nice and kind every day they make sure that i had eaten, if I haven't eaten they willing to walk to the highway for buy you dinner. One night my friend didn't come and they knock the door asking have i had dinner? MaasyaAllah i feel so comfortable and hospitality stay at this resort during monsoon.. room is not really clean and no tissue but that is not big deal for me. Also the guy who sit at reception is nice as well.. i feel home here, next time if i come back to kasargod i stay here again..
