Malabar Ocean Front Resort in Bekal set a whole new standard for us! From the warm Kerala-style welcome to the lush green pathways leading to our room, everything felt like stepping into a hidden paradise. The room was spacious, with a TV, minibar, walk-in closet, and thoughtful welcome snacks. But the real showstopper? Our private pool with a waterfall, overlooking green lawns and the ocean! High tea on the beach with classic Kerala snacks was an absolute delight, made even better by the soothing ocean breeze. The sunset stroll, feeling the waves under our feet, was pure magic. The outdoor pool was perfect for unwinding before dinner, and the shack-style dining setup made every meal feel like a mini-vacation. From authentic Kerala flavors to continental treats, every bite was a joy. But what truly made this place special was the combination of nature and heartwarming hospitality. The lush greenery, serene lily ponds, and staff who treat you like family made our stay unforgettable. Leaving with beautiful memories and already dreaming of coming back! Highly recommend this slice of paradise.

I recently had the opportunity to have my wedding at Malabar Ocean Front Resort and Spa. We booked rooms for 2 nights as well as the venue for one day. The entire experience was beyond expectation. The rooms were clean, we'll maintained, we'll equipped along with top-notch hospitality from the hotel staff. Not only were they polite, efficient and professional but they were also patient and accommodating to all our requests. The venue was right on the beach which gives a perfect backdrop for a beach wedding. The food was delicious. Everything was on the spot. They helpedus turn out wedding into the dream wedding that we had wanted. Thank you so much!!!

We recently stayed at this resort with family, and overall, the experience was underwhelming for the price we paid. While the property was decent, it didn't live up to the expectations set by its pricing or marketing. The level of hospitality was quite disappointing--staff seemed indifferent and we didn't feel well taken care of during our stay. The breakfast was very average, lacking variety and quality. We also had lunch at the resort, which turned out to be extremely overpriced considering the portion sizes and taste. What really stood out in a negative way was the lack of consideration when it came to food for our baby. Despite clearly mentioning that the food was for a baby, we were served undercooked rice that seemed like it was prepared in a hurry, possibly even leftover from the afternoon. The rice was hard and definitely not suitable for a child. We had asked for simple curd rice for the baby, but what was sent looked more like a regular adult portion with no adjustments made for a child's needs. For the kind of property and service offered, the menu prices felt unjustifiably high and not worth it.The resort falls short in terms of value for money and guest experience. There's definitely room for improvement, especially in terms of service and pricing.

The rooms were clean and tidy. The staff were very cordial and pleasing. They took very good care. The food is good. Rooms are very spacious. Spa is also very good. They spa treatment was very refreshing. The property is very next to sea side.. there is no disturbance and very calm environment

Bindu the spa person did the foot massage so well. Stay was beautiful view was nice rooms are good. The rooms were spacious. Beach was so serene. Food was also nice but more choice needed. Overall recommended Beach was so near n the sound of waves took us to another world

By all means do the golden triangle (as we have) but whatever you do before setting off for home head South, as we did, to Mangalore airport (2 and a quarter flying hours from Delhi) hop in a taxi, which the resort will arrange for you, and come to this perfect beach/pool holiday resort. The only difficult decision you'll need to make all day is wether to turn left or right to walk along the beautiful sandy beach.|Breakfast is served in an open restaurant on the beach. You'll want to take the 2 hours the buffet is available to watch the surf and see the bird & animal life as it goes about it's day.|We've followed breakfast with a morning stroll down (or up) the beach enjoying the 'beach cranes' watching for fish in the shallows, the crabs run for cover as we approach and we were fortunate enough to see a pod of dolphins 30 meters offshore as they made their way north (no guarantees).|We have a poolside room on the ground floor. It has a very large double bed, a sofa, desk & chair and a fridge to take the mineral water bottles left daily outside the door.|The en suite washroom has a good shower as well as basin and loo. Housekeeping do a great job of cleaning when requested.|Step out of our patio doors into the pool area. The pool is self regulating and a good size in the shape of an apostrophe with an area for children and the main part varies from 3 to 5 feet in depth. It is beautifully kept and very necessary as there is no lifeguard for those choosing to swim in the sea and the currents are strong.|The spa offers a variety of Ayurvedic treatments some of which we have tried. Don't expect the massage to be as they might be in England. The facials are extremely rewarding.|The food is very good and plentiful. Breakfast sets you up for the day. We haven't needed lunch so can't comment however there are complementary tea/coffee and snacks on the beach at 'teatime' and dinner varies from a wide choice a la carte or, if things are busier a reasonably priced buffet. There is a separate restaurant for lunch and dinner and room service is available.|The resort has a gym, though if you're here to relax you might consider, as I do, walking past it as exercise enough.|The staff are extremely friendly and will do all they can to help your stay.|There are no walk to markets or other things, we've not wanted to do anything but relax, so be sure to have what you want in the gifts line before you get here.|We are among the few non indigenous people to be here and that speaks volumes. It's not 'Surrey by the sea' it's where Indian people come to holiday.|Part of me wants to keep it a secret!

The stay with them was excellent!! Right from the welcome by Savita ' s sweet smile and Karthik s pleasant words began our two day visit here. The chef Vinod and the staff here made sure we got every dish we wanted...the rasam rice was excellent in lunch which was specially prepared for us. Mr. Rathish, the House keeping Manager, was courteous and made sure we were comfortable at every point. The rooms are clean and the beach is also pristine.One thing that we recommend is the massage here done by Bindu( woman) and Abhijit ( Men) . They were too good ..the stress of Mumbai City was taken off by their soft hands and the medicinal warm oil. The icing on the cake was the lovely surprise that was prepared by the team here: Dinner by the sea...we were speechless ..this memory is etched for life!! Sijo and Jishnu had to come to and fro from the restaurant numerous times but they did it with a smile on their face! Sijo made sure we enjoy the romantic getaway to the T ..Thank you Team for this super two day stay!!!

Location, Food and massage were awesome, and must try while visiting. Here I have rejuvenating experience of in 3 days of my Stay. The place is quite, beautiful a pleasent stay. Over all I will recommend this place to if you want to experience the luxury with elegance
