Perch by the sea

This is a good homestay located right by the beach. The staff is excellent, and the food was enjoyable. The homestay is very calm, allowing you to relax while listening to the sound of the waves and enjoying the sea view. However, cleanliness could be improved a bit. The parking area is good, and the place is surrounded by greenery. The best part is that it's situated directly on the beach. Finally in this stay we enjoyed lot.

What a beautiful location of the place right with the sea view. The manager Abhinand was so kind and helpful. He let us stay in the lounge for extra hours as we had a late night bus. The caretaker karan attend us for everything with a smile. It was an amazing break at perch by the sea. Highly recommend.

We were a group of 10 went for Theyyam. Property was in such a niche location, right on the cliff. The owner was kind enough, the manager(Abhinand) was attending us with such patience and the care taker Karan was even went a mile extra to make us comfortable. He always had a smile on his face and every single request was attended and they took ownership of it. Highly recommend for groups.

It was a peaceful and calm place to stay. We went there for a babymoon. The private beach and service are outstanding. Loved it

My family and I had the best time at Perch by the sea. The hospitality, the ambience, the food was fantastic. Definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

I stayed on 23rd Feb 2025 in room no1, very much disapointed, 1. Room is old and low roof, 2, Found termite insects on the bed. 3. Sealing fan just 4 to 5 feet height above the cot & no speed controle, 4. No water in the wash room at 4:30 morning, 5.broken A/c, no temp controle, 6,staff good but they are helpless, Worst experience. Finally next day I shifted my stay to near by good one.

One can get a great view of the sea from this guest house and can climb down to the the small private beach. The room was ok. No food options available. However this is a run down place and not being maintained well.Not suitable for family. Note: There are two bunglows at this location. A slightly newer one which is given for long term stay mostly to foreigners and the old one which is available for daily stay. This should explain the +ve reviews given by the foreigners.
