KUTTICHIRA HERITAGE HOME

A beautiful house with a spectacular garden and view. Very nice, clean and cosy room. The room had a kuitchet and the bathroom was huge. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable! The owner was very attentive. There is a laundry service on request. The garden is beautiful, especially at sunset. We ate very well in this area.

It was an amazing stay! The heritage home is beautiful and it seems that you step back in time. The area is very tranquil, the garden and the view are so serene with a lot of squirrels, minding their own business :) . Mr.George, the owner as well as Mr. Sanoj were both very welcoming and honorable men. We felt so welcomed that it almost seemed we were visiting a friend's or familys house. The breakfast was very good and filling and we even received a room upgrade. We received a lot of help during our stay with our journey, a ride to the bank, informations about all kind of things and a boat tour recommendation, which was amazing. It was by far our best stay in India and by far we were so well taken care off like never before, thank you Mr. George and especially thank you Mr. Sanoj for your generosity and bright mind!

The best place in India/Kerala, and better than many other places that I have been before in the world. Amazing place, rustic and full of essence. The Manager Sanoj Sanu is a great host and a real professional with strong values. The owner Professor George, also the same. The boat tour that they organized for us was amazing and relaxing. Breakfast was very good and fulfilling(they let us choose). The room and the view was also wonderful, we booked a smaller room, but they gave us a better one with better view. Kindly recommended.

This is a lovely mix of old and new. The beautiful building has been lovingly restored, with great bathrooms and comfortable facilities. Set in a beautifully manicured lawned garden with a wetland vista, this is a very peaceful location, just a short ride into town. Sanoj and his team work hard to maintain standards whilst being professional, friendly and attentive. The two little dogs that visit are lovely and love to be fussed. We loved the drinking early morning tea on the balcony watching the birds.

I stayed here solo for a couple of days, while grieving the loss of my beloved father. I will be writing a detailed review later, along with the photographs taken while I was there. Beautiful quiet place where you can experience solitude, with a view of fields and water body. Even though it has been two years thence, this place keeps calling me back, I know not why.

Traditional looking house with clean rooms & well behaved, caring staffs. Sanoj was very polite and helpful throughout our stay and helped us to plan our itinerary for the entire trip. Even the owners were very friendly and welcoming. I really would recommend this property to others.

Kuttichira is an exceptional place with heritage-style architecture, nestled within a residential area. The property features a small pond and a well-maintained lawn, adding to its charm. It offers great value for the price, and we received a discounted rate for three rooms, making it even more worthwhile.

This is not just a stay, it's a complete experience. It's an over 150 years old home which had been meticulously restored and dedicatedly maintained. The hospitality is top notch. George Sir and Sanuj are both really great hosts and would ensure that you don't face any issue whatsoever throughout the duration of the stay! The breakfast provided if prepared by George Sir's mother and is as authentic as it gets. The property lawn is very well maintained and faces an open farm. You could spend entire afternoons just lying there in one of the hammocks. The list is endless. You have to stay here to experience it. Will definitely come back for a longer stay.
