Elephant Courtyard- A Heritage Homestay

We had a wonderful experience at Elephant Courtyard Resort. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the homely atmosphere made the stay even more special. The resort's location is a bit tucked away in Cherthala, but it's easily accessible with a nearby bus stop. The traditional "naalukettu" architecture adds a unique charm to the property. Best of all, it's very affordable, making it a great choice for a peaceful getaway. Highly recommended

It gave us a feeling of being at home away from home. The accommodation was very classic and welcoming. The home made food was delicious with an added pinch of love. The family welcomed us with warmth and took care of everything we needed. I highly recommend this place for couples and families who want to experience an earthen luxury of a homely feel. This is a very beautiful wooden house. The owners are friendly and allowed us an early check-in. The food was home-cooked and delicious. Overall a peaceful experience. The only thing is that the heater was not working in one room and a couple of switches were not functioning.

I am a regular visitor of the homestay since 2016 . I went there recently aswell . The owners are very friendly and reliable . I must say that it's very safe for sole travelers like me ;) I highly recommend this to people who are looking for an authentic and affordable stay without compromising on the quality!

Lovely location and nallukettu with clean rooms. The caretaking staff is polite and helpful. Overall, had a lovely stay there.

Very traditional style of kerala house. Located in very quiet area and there is a river beside the house.
