Kuttickattil Gardens Home stay

We just had 2 amazing days staying in the cottage of this home stay. We feel very lucky to have found this tranquil place and are also extremely grateful to the hosts who looked after us extremely well. We had breakfast and dinner cooked for us or the host went to get us a take away dosa for lunch. The food was incredible! Our son loved fishing and we all enjoyed the pool which was as a total bonus. We loved leaning about the plants in the garden and loved watching the birds and butterflies. You can also get kayaks and get a public ferry boat to the backwaters. The hosts will help with anything and are either available via what's app or in person, but keep their distance for your privacy but they are always happy to chat and show you round or explain what there is to do nearby. This is a village location or to get around the boat can call for a tuktuk. There is a little shop walking distance which we only realised as we left.

Beautiful and peaceful Homestay, Ajith our host was very helpful. Easy to get the bus or auto into Kottayam and pleasant to walk around the surrounding area. We enjoyed use of the kayak and the swimming pool to keep cool during the hot days.

Had a stay there. We were provided with a house of two bedrooms, hall and kitchen. The owner was very helpful and provided us with the best service. Had a good stay with family. The location is too with a good natural ambience. Highly recommended for people looking for homestay near Mannanam, Ettumanoor and Kottayam area. They have a swimming pool, a children's park, boating, etc.

Real value for money with a pool ( almost like a private pool) . Well maintained clean rooms . The outdoors were perfect with a little place to sit by the river ( backwaters) and a park to add on to. The hosts were amazing - got us dinner and breakfast!

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The location is outside the crowded spaces on the coast which gives it a tranquil experience. The kitchen is no less than excelle t - can only recommend the Idli & curry combination. Ajith has good advice on various things to do and see and can actively help you organize transport. We feel a bit sad having to leave as our vacation comes to an end. We would book here againg.

They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, and they even arranged a special seating area for lunch during the occasion of my daughter's baptism. It was a thoughtful gesture that made the day even more memorable. The homestay is nestled in a scenic area that truly captures the beauty of nature. There's no unnecessary artificial beautification here--just pure, natural surroundings that offer a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The food was another highlight of our stay. It was delicious, fresh, and full of authentic flavors, giving us a real taste of local cuisine. Above all, we felt completely safe during our stay. The hosts were kind, attentive, and always available to assist with any request. They were also incredibly considerate when it came to accommodating a handicapped person in our group, ensuring that everyone felt comfortable and cared for. While everything else was perfect, I would suggest paying attention to minor maintenance details, such as repairing the sanitary hardware in some areas.
