Base9 Cochin Airport Hotel

Near to Cochin International Airport. Very comfortable stay. Ebin Mathew is really a nice and helpful gentleman. Quiet and pleasent environment. Only drawback is that there is no shop/market nearby. But, the hotel staff brings everything for the guests as per request. Staff are really gentle and helpful. Highly recommended.

The hotel is within short ride to the airport by hotel taxi . It is quite a tired looking hotel on the outside but the owner has decorated the rooms well. We had a huge room, with a living area/ kitchenette area with plates and cutlery, plus a balcony ( looking out on a very tired garden). ||First hotel we've stayed in India with tea, coffee and Kettle. Was very excited. Fan and Aircon too. Menus for local takeaway in the room - good value and good food. However, no fault of the hotel owners , the whole area had a powercut that lasted over 5 hrs I think ( no idea as went to bed). So no proper shower, just bucket and cool water that evening. Power was on in the morning so cup of tea to wake up was a treat.||Would have give 4 if it wasn't for the power cut. |Good value. But Travel agent gave us the wrong info re the hotel as it said restaurant and swimming Pool. That was funny.......

As it was our first time in India we walked to the hotel from the airport and was greeted by a very friendly and helpful staff, What ever help we needed through out our stay was given. The hotel was very clean and tidy and tea and coffee was available in the room via an electric kettle. We found it was a perfect base to work from and would stay there again | Thank you all at base 9

It's doesn't feel like 3 star hotel. More like good guest house with all hotel facilities. It's near to airport but in isolated street, so nothing is nearby.There is no restaurant in the hotel. You have to order food. They provide breakfast but you have to tell them day before what you want and they will order it for you. Room was tidy and clean. They have ac, geyser, kettle, hair dryer. Good for one night stay only.

My recent stay was deeply unsatisfactory due to several issues that were not adequately addressed by the property management. Upon entering my room, I discovered multiple lizards, which created an uncomfortable and unsanitary environment. Furthermore, the bedsheets had visible blood stains, indicating a severe lack of cleanliness.||I immediately brought these concerns to the property manager's attention and requested a resolution. Unfortunately, my complaints were met with indifference, and no action was taken to rectify the situation. This lack of responsiveness was extremely disappointing.||Adding to the negative experience, the breakfast service was equally poor. Guests were limited to a single dosa, which is an inadequate portion for a morning meal.

This hotel is near to Cochin airport. It is well maintained hotel and the ambiance is quiet. Staff were hospitable. The deluxe rooms were clean and they have provided all the required basic amenities. They do not have an in-house restaurant but there are few nearby restaurants whose menus are available inside the room for placing an order for home delivery. I have ordered food from Rastantra restaurant which was good. Stayed along with my family and we had a pleasant and memorable experience.

Upon arriving at the hotel, I was informed that my booking was shifted to another property owned by them. The room was small, with no breakfast option although I had paid for breakfast. I just had to spend the night so it was bearable. The stay wasn't worth the money I paid for it.

Just like a home stay Staff are not friendly So many good hotels available in nearby ........I now find myself regretting the choice I made to reserve this hotel. I suspect that the ratings featured on Cleartrip might be misleading.
