Spring Muunnar Resort, Munnar

Had a great stay at Spring Muunnar Resort! The location is beautiful and peaceful--perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were clean and spacious, with lovely views of the hills. The staff was polite and helpful throughout our stay. Food was very good. if you're looking for a quiet nature retreat with good amenities, this is a great choice. Would definitely recommend!

Went here for December vacation. It was a very good resort situated in a steep hilly region. Big parking is available. But you have to walk on a steep road to reach the rooms. They have swimming pool, restaurant, gym, games room, outdoor walking and camping area. This place is superb one for families and children. Calm and super ambience. Rooms are not perfect for the setup and the price. But they are good. I think they are going to renovate the place, not sure. You will get excellent balcony views, Complimentary breakfast . Only drawback is it will be difficult for old aged people to walk over the place to get into rooms. Front desk helped us a lot. They arranged auto for us. You will see lot of small birds over this place. Overall it's was a very pleasant and calm vacation.

We spent our New Year's Eve at the resort. We stayed 2 night in the hotel and we had extremely poor service. On our first night the room was not cleaned at all. We understand sometime the things can be missed but it was a someone's used rooms. That we got the bedsheets was very dirty and not changed and stains and marks everywhere. The towel had blood stains and long hair. No dental kits in bathroom and no toilet rolls. The room stinks as if no once ever lived or cleaned the room before. We arrived late to the hotel we somehow tried to sleep but we got itchiness all over the body could not sleep. Next day finally got a cleaned bed after the complaint again there was no dental kits even after requesting. We had to call the receptionist again. On our check out time we did not receive the change back as the receptionist said he does not have change. We did not receive good service on top of that we have to leave our change as well. Your receptionist has extremely poor communication skills. We speak Hindi and English both and he was either not interested or not willing to give our change back. Very disappointed. We came from overseas and receptionist expected us to pay google pay or have change.

Overall do not recommend. There was a steep walk with many stairs to the rooms, which was not ideal. We arrived to the vintage house and every surface was wet, and there was signs of mold on the walls. We asked to be moved to another room, but the a/c was not working there and those rooms were also smelling extremely of mold/mildew with mold in the bathroom. Every surface, especially the linens/bed, felt slightly damp. Towels were uneven in color leading to lack of confidence in hotel cleanliness. Unfortunately it was late, so we had to stay the night. In the morning the windows were covered in condensation. We were originally booked for two nights, but cut our Munnar trip short because of the state of the rooms. Most likely the dampness is a climate issue, but there could be more done to prevent it from affecting guests in my opinion.

Amazing place and location but it is one hour away from Munnar so it doesn't enjoy the climate and tea garden ambience of Munnar itself but has it's own charm. Rooms are spacious, views are great and we stayed in the Green view villa but in room 209 bathroom, you get a really bad smell from the septic tank (it cannot be helped as it is a basement room). Food service and food itself is ok but we were not provided room service in the evening and were only able to order from a very limited buffet menu with only 2 non veg dishes. Would recommend to someone who likes to travel and is willing to eat from outside

one of the worst resort in Munnar.. Many of the reviews are wtitten by their own staffs who have never stayed in that property even once... I Wonder why the management doing such fraudulence instead of upgrading their property... Never recommend this property.. Utter shame

The rooms and the stay was really nice and comfortable. The location is very quite, calm and peaceful. You can enjoy the natural beauty of the environment and experience an escape from reality. The only problem is the service. It's takes a lot of time to get something done here. The staff promises everything but we didn't recieve none. The pool was really nice and we had a great time there. The food was above average but little overpriced. They charged 50rs for lime juice. Overall the stay and the location is really recommend. It is a really nice resort. There are places to explore inside the property. Had a great time with my family there
