Scenic, Munnar - IHCL SeleQtions

We had an amazing experience at Scenic Munnar - IHCL SeleQtions. From the stunning views to the warm hospitality, everything exceeded our expectations. The location is incredible, surrounded by lush plantations and misty hills - truly a nature lover's paradise. The rooms are beautifully designed with spacious balconies offering breathtaking views. The food was delicious with a wide variety of cuisines, and the service was exceptional. The staff's warm hospitality and personal attention truly elevated our experience. Perfect place for a peaceful and luxurious escape - highly recommended!

The entire munnar's beauty at one place and felt like heaven. |Right from welcoming with Tulasi Mala had great memories at the hotel, very impressed with duty manager Varun , the food is exceptionally good, I have tried various dishes , all of them all really really tasty. Fish fry is the best and even chicken sausages are very very good. |Croissants are really loved them.|||Spent all my honeymoon only at the property exploring and enjoying food gym and yoga. Mr Romin was very helpful and had great detoxifying experience at steam bath and Sauna.|Yoga time is another level and very great experience.||Everyone right from boogie to service, incredible service. I would love to visit over and again.||Thank you Tom sir making the arrangements on my birthday and made one of the best memory in my life. The guy who helped arranging at b1 really loved the decor for my birthday.||Again thank you so much for the birthday cake congratulations message and the small gift really really impressive with the spices given. ||Means a lot ,I am always feel like a member of Tata family.. would love to visit more and more again.||My wife is Tata employee and m taj member, if you could give us a better prices even with vouchers redemption would be more convenient for us .||I really loved the bed and bath tub too.

We had such a great time at Scenic Munnar! The place is gorgeous, full of beautiful plants and flowers - felt like we were in nature's lap. We even saw lots of birds just wandering around, which was a nice surprise. We ate all our meals there, and the food was tasty, a good mix of local kerala cuisine and the usual. The staff were really trying their best, which we appreciated. We totally loved just being on the property and the spa was such a treat. Definitely a relaxing stay, and we'd totally go back!

We spent some time in summer last year and I don't know why I took so long to write this note. The property is fantastic. They have buggies that ferry you to your rooms and back. They have the best staff waiting on your for things you may or may not need. The restaurant has fantastic coffee and a menu that incorporate local delicacies. There is a spa for your relaxation and rejuvenation needs and there is a nice pool that can help getting sun burnt. The food was outstanding. But even better was the service from every single of the staff member, right from the folks ferrying buggies, to people who drive your cars to the parking lots and back to lovely chaps manning the reception and room service phone lines and the good people in the restaurant, everyone is cheerful and eager to help and what more would you want when on a vacation. Scenic Munnar is going to eventually become Munnar's best kept secret, it's not even in Munnar!

We visited the hotel in April. Overall the property is nice, as you would expect for a 5-start property. However, certain things left us asking for more. Pros: Nice property, with beautiful landscaping and a huge variety of plantation within the property. The pool was nice, and the lobby had a nice view of the property and the valley besides (it would have been great to have the restaurant at this level). The breakfast was great as you would expect, including Kerala specials like appam & stew. Cons: Location of the resort is at a much lower elevation than Munnar, although distance-wise is not so far from Munnar. So it was much warmer than Munnar, defeating the purpose of visiting a hill-station in Summer. The rooms were very small in size for the given price. Other resorts with less than half the price have nicer rooms and a better location. While the balcony was big & nice, it just overlooked other rooms further down in the valley, and the woods were only in the distant. Plus, the location isn't great even in terms of any other activities outside of the hotel, including no good restaurant options. Overall not a great place for Munnar for ridiculous high prices.

We stayed for 2 days. Stay was fantastic starting from check in. We received a warm welcome with herbal coffee. It was amazing. Kids will enjoy a lot in the recreational room and open play area. Buggy operators are very kind and available 24/7. Its a very big property. We can spend good amount of time inside the property itself. Evening high tea with snacks are excellent. Aishwarya from front office was very kind and extremely helpful to all the guests and makind sure all the guests are comfortable. Her valuable suggestions made our trip better. She is great asset to Taj. Vipin chef is making sure that all the guests are satisfied with the food. Our big thanks to all the staffs.

Hotel Scenic Munnar is a stunning retreat surrounded by lush green plantation and misty mountains. The hotel is well planned and is undoubtedly the best in munnar. The rooms were new and beautiful. The breakfast was absolutely worth it and comparable to Marriot Kochi. We had the Eggs benedict three times during the breakfast. The chef personally asked the opinion of the breakfast from each table. Lastly the service does justice to the Taj brand, each of the employee was very friendly and accommodating...They arranged a small complimentary chocolate cake ( really tasty ) for my wife's birthday along with candles. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Munnar...
