Lazy Gaze by the river

I booked this place for a few days for my daughter and son-in-law when they visited Aluva. They have two cosy cottages overlooking the river, moderately priced. The proprietors are friendly, helpful and accommodating. Situated in the town itself, but at the same time, providing a retreat from the hustle and bustle around. They had a comfortable stay here. Food is not provided here, but there is a restaurant at easy reach and many places around from where you can get food delivered on food delivery apps.

Its a cosy place overlooking the river, situated in the town itself, but providing a peaceful retreat from the noise of the town. I booked this place for my daughter and son-in-law when they visited Aluva. The cottage was clean, moderately priced and the owners were helpful and friendly. Food is not provided here, but there is a restaurant close by and also many places around from where food is delivered on food delivery apps.

Rooms are not well maintained, breakfast they provide only bread and egg. For food you have to travel 4kms from the property. Location is good. Staff is ok. There are lots of lizard in the room. They have to maintain it properly.

Wonderful wonderful property with two rooms that open into a backyard facing the wide beautiful rippling river... abundant greenery, a very gracious host and a nice caretaker complete the deal. With the distant sound of the occasional train passing by and the chirping of crickets and birds... We're talking pretty much idyllic. That doesn't mean you can forget to wear odomos or carry an umbrella though or think about arranging transportation to and from here.

Short Overview Location Service: Rooms and property Rates/Price Detailed Review First Impression: The place was located a bit out of the main locations but was worth it as Riverside's view is important. It was wow when we just entered the place and saw the river view. Even forgot to pay the cab driver we got so much into the place. The Check-in: we got a welcome drink and a friendly Hindi-speaking guy Vishal who was our all-go-to person. We were introduced to things nearby and what we can do in our next full-day plan. Staff: So Vishal we had as our Guy, Be it morning 6 or night 11, he was there for us, bed tea to Late night tea, he was there. Additionally, he is a really good photographer and he shoots videos nicely. If you are alone or just couple, definitely get some amazing shoot done by him. Pros: - Calm place - Riverside view - Meditative environment - Peaceful surroundings (Except for a dog in neighbour) - Clean room with all amenities -. Nice washroom Cons/Feedback for improvement - should have a full kitchen, so we can sit, stay and eat 100% at property - mosquitos/Insects will be there, needs to keep your door closed and/or if sitting outside in night, full covering cloths are recommended(Also covered in introduction at the time of check-in)

A beautiful location with peaceful atmosphere. There are two rooms with river facing view and also the property is very well maintained which makes it a perfect place to hangout with friends and family.

Such a cute cosy little home away from home in Aluva! Located near the Aluva metro station as well as the railway station so you don't have to worry about connectivity. A laden jackfruit tree welcomes you to the earthy traditional ambience of the front porch followed by a tiny hallway that leads to your room. The patio provides a gorgeous view of the serene river, perfect for a lazy gaze into the scenic splendor of Kerala. The caretaker is also very prompt and kind enough to cater to your needs! Such a comfortable stay, I already want to go back and enjoy the peaceful bliss.

It's a perfect den for 6 pax to jam ...has a kitchen too ...food on swiggy and uber taxi available....
