Uday Backwater Resort

The cultural & art experience at this hotel left me speechless. I absolutely love everything about this hotel. The staff welcomed us with complimentary drinks and a long shell necklace which i really LOVE IT and also appreciate it. No doubt, i got a total 5 star experience, luxurious accommodation, beautiful serene, attentive staff made it a pefect place for relaxation Room : it's clean & comfortable with Top notch amenities. Elegant room. Staff : helpful & friendly. They wish me good morning while walking across. I received Breakfast : Five star for their breakfast choices. Breakfast was a feast with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. The hotel is full of great art and elegant decor. Just a charming place. Definitely will come again.

The resort in located near the lake, it has an amazing view. The resort if full of greenery and they have birds roaming in the entire resort. It makes you feel very close to nature. Perfect place for rejuvenation. The service and the rooms are very clean and tidy. Great hospitality.

Everything was good. Service was excellent. The staff here are very nice. We enjoyed our stay. The staff are very friendly and their approach towards kids is also very nice. We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely choose the same place if we visit again

Wonderful experience in Kochi! The environment was incredibly peaceful, and everything was spotless and hygienic. The room was very comfortable, with a beautiful view. Dinner was absolutely delicious, with options to suit every taste. I also had a massage, which was deeply relaxing. Overall, a perfect and rejuvenating stay!

We stayed in the premium room and overall had a very good experience. At the time of our check-in, a big group also arrived, but the staff still gave us proper attention and made sure everything went smoothly. We also got a grand welcome with chendamelam, which was a nice touch and made us feel special.||The best part of our stay was the service - especially Mr. Prince from housekeeping. He was very helpful and made sure we were comfortable throughout. The room was clean and well maintained, and any small needs were taken care of quickly. His team also did a great job.||One thing we noticed was some noise from a nearby construction area (JCB sound), but it wasn't too much of a problem as the staff, especially Mr. Prince, made sure we were comfortable despite that.||Sitting by the lakeside in the evening was a different kind of peaceful experience. We could hear music from a nearby temple, and it added a nice vibe to the atmosphere.||All in all, the staff were friendly and supportive. We had a lovely stay and would recommend this place to others.

I recently stayed at uday back water resort and it was a wonderful experience staying at the resort. Starting from the checkin, every process is very smooth. Main attractions are the carvings on the walls looks amazing representing kerala heritage. Things that you can experience here are the welcome drinks, welcome shell chains, back waters view, complimentary breakfast, bird watching , complimentary Hi Tea , activities like fishing and many more to add. Overall it was a very nice stay without any cons.

A Memorable Family Stay at Uday Backwaters Resort, Alleppey We had a wonderful family vacation at Uday Backwaters Resort. The location is simply stunning, with every room offering a breathtaking view of the serene backwaters. The rooms themselves were clean, spacious, and well-maintained -- a perfect blend of comfort and nature. One of the highlights for us, especially the kids, was the presence of birds all around the resort, adding a lovely touch to the overall experience. There were plenty of activities to keep everyone engaged, making it an ideal spot for both relaxation and recreation. What truly sets this resort apart is its amazing staff. Every member of the team was courteous, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. A special shoutout to Shaumiran, who ensured our rooms were spotless and perfectly organized throughout our stay -- truly impeccable work. Also, a big thanks to Anjo for the unmatched hospitality and warm service that made us feel right at home. The only area where we felt there was room for improvement was the food -- the taste could definitely have been better to match the overall quality of the experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Alleppey -- we would love to return!

Loved this hotel. The location was great (minus the roads leading up to it), the rooms are super comfortable, and the food was incredible -- lots of variety and every dish was delicious. Huge thanks to Anjo, the restaurant manager, for making our stay extra special. He went out of his way to organize a surprise birthday celebration for our parents, and it was perfect. Such thoughtful service and attention to detail. This hotel was a great finish to our trip in Kerala. Already recommended this place to our friends & family!
